I haven't listened to those two guys up the dial in a long time. My place for morning sports talk is "The Dan Patrick Show" before I listen to Mac & Spiegs in progress.

I would have called it the Toronto effect, but Bosh came out of there playing well. I wanted to see more too. In terms of what I wanted to see after he turned pro he is kind of Grant Hill without injury.

Missed the first hour and a half, but I tuned in just in time for WHITE SOX ATTENDANCE! God, reading this thread, they've got a fucking checklist today.

What is odd is how they are citing a 30 share among a subset of Chicago which I believe was men 24-50. My guess is that a lot of sporting events get that type of viewership among that demographic.

Across the country, ratings are up but not remarkably so. I doubt that every male in Chicago suddenly started watching.

One could argue the guy was moving too much. They don't call it as much now with the circle they added, but you aren't supposed to be able to get a charge called when a player has already jumped if you are moving. Then again, NBA basketball is called with a different set of rules.

The discussion though is about a player being scared to take a last shot and/or not coming through at the end. Durant took the last shot, and should have had free throws to tie it. That's why people aren't bashing him. Also, he doesn't call himself "King" and he didn't promise to bring 8 titles to OKC.

Listened a bit while on my travels to Oak Lawn....this was a weird and bad segment. Beat the trial to death, beat it some more, talk about the ins and outs of running a case, have callers speculate and then, after it's over....you read a statement by Coach K (in the Coach K voice) and go into a huge rant about it. Bitching about how Coach K should have handled it, what he should have said, how he sucks and all that.....man, some bad psychosis going on with Bernsie here. It's like every little thing, no matter how tangential, that is related to the case is picked apart and ranted about by BernSTINE. Is he going to go after the company that built the showers that Sandusky raped those boys in because if they hadn't built them those boys would be ok?

Awful.

But I was rewarded with a funny ass segment around the 4:15pm time. I haven't laughed out loud at the show in a long, long time before then. Good Stuff.

That's just a dumbass sttement from someone who does not watch enough basketball...
