Hmmm. Must be more serious than Bernstein and drinky indicated yesterday if Bernstein needs to take today off. I'm referring to Bernstein leaving the show at 4pm yesterday due to a "family situation" for those that don't know.

I hope everything is okay with the family.

That being said, Peoria Matt's reply yesterday made me spit out my drink.

You should be listening to AM 890 right now. Day baseball is the best. Makes the afternoon fly by.

As much as I despise him, I hope everything's ok. I just don't know if I am sincere in saying that.

did his shipment of cheap wine or his box of food come damaged? Or worse, are they missing?

Did one of his kids get a mosquito bite and he is fearful that they may get the Zika virus?

So many unknowns.

Gotta be a dead or ailing older relative, right? Bernstein is in his, what, mid/late 40's now? This is around the time when these things happen, sad as it is. I'm liable to give him a hard time on most things, but now I hope he and his family are doing as well as can be expected given whatever circumstances they face.

Just don't send thoughts or prayers.

When is the "Drinky & Whores" show playing? Blaze, any thoughts on that? Maybe I should have asked, "how often is"?

FBI and the auditors showed up at the One Step offices? Dan asks himself where the PR experts are in the Rolodex.

Drinky does not sound like a guy with a bunch of troubles.

He's got to. Bernstein's forced absence is giving him another shot to audition for a position for which he has been passed over twice already. He needs an on-air gig now more than ever, probably.

No. He does not. Sounds like he doesn't have a care in the world. He's his usual stupid sounding self. I thought once this broke there would be a different tone to him. I was wrong. Then again, simpletons don't feel anything. It's usually smarter people that feel guilt, remorse and shame.

Drinky sounds like a guy who's major concern when he woke up today was what to get for lunch.

Lots of funny possibilities to what is going on with Bernstein. I'm sure whatever it is, he will just say everything is good, and move on
