Dan does not believe players think about their batting average or getting RBis when they are up to bat with a guy on second. They are simply up there doing their job. |

Dan would of shouted down and hung up on Doyle if he was a caller. Dan is an idiot who thinks everything in sports is simply stats. |

Doyle went out of his way to lick stoney's ass re: baseball credentials. Dan went out of his way to namedrop having that baseball expert he had on yesterday who name dropped eno sarris from fangraphs b4 comparing Jake arrieta to Carlos Marmol. You know, the guy who Dan went out of his way to compliment like "you're smart. We're definitely going to have you on again." This show is like 33.3% more kiss-the-ring/asslickey when Doyle is around. Keep it™®© |

This is a great pairing. "No man should ever text an emoji to another man." "What does gender have to do with it?" |

Ever try to offer an honest criticism to a female at work via email? You better have three smilies after that fucker or you will be hated by every woman within a square mile. |

These guys couldn't be more different. Boyle just admitted that he considered buying his wife an "engagement couch" in lieu of a ring. Bernstein was appalled. |

Maybe I misread this situation. Maybe Doyle is such an annoying idiot that even Bernstein doesn't know what to do with him. I'm tuning back in here. For the life of me, I don't know why Bernstein would have requested this guy. Maybe he's never heard him before. |

He started saying how engagement rings and big weddings are a complete waste of money, and you could hear Dan stroking out over the air. He jumped in to say "NOT IF YOU HAVE A QUALIFIED WEDDING PROFESSIONAL!" |

I tuned in for like 5 minutes and they were interviewing some guy. This Doyle guy was talking about people stereotyping white guys as shooters in basketball and says he gets stereotyped all the time at the gym. Definitely gave off a Mike North vibe. So this is actually worth listening to a podcast of? |

PROPER wedding rings are a great investment cuz when you get a good stone it appreciates in value ("the opposite of a car, you know?") --- this led to doyle saying he wanted to steal his wife's ring cuz she doesn't even bother wearing it out anymore. then as dan was pointing out that he's got a wedding planner wife doyle told a story about his wedding day where he went to a horseracing track in upstate NY and won $1800 a couple'a hours b4 his wedding. he mentioned it was nice to be able to use that $$$ to pay the singers and the help and etc. i guess boyle sees the value in being "that wild-n-crazy guy!" foil to dan a la terry, eh? FavreFan wrote: I tuned in for like 5 minutes and they were interviewing some guy. that was actually doug mcdermott, so you're spot on with him simply being "just a guy" =D |

I heard snippets today as well: Asking McDermott about thinking about substitution patterns? What's he supposed to say the truth? More importantly, that's not what he should be thinking about at any point in a game. Beyond that: Dan is the originator (now imitated) "basketball hell" portrait, and the current Bulls under the Reinsdorf Family "GarPax" braintrust are now the title custodians of that hell. They've not only gotten older but they are a top-down weak organization. The promotion of the Zoidberg campaign has no successful historic precedent. Pat Riley might be the closest thing, and he just emptied his closet to properly rebuild. |

Don't worry Dan. Some schmuck bagging on weddings in a sports radio station isn't going to hurt business. |
