I know MANY won't be listening, but for those of you that might fancy tuning in, be prepared for a heavy dose of Very. Serious. Radio. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/ear ... d-records/ |

Bernsie could probably spike the football with that stuff. But it's the main reason I don't listen anymore. |

Who is in for Terry today, Rozner, again? Holy Jesus that show will be insufferable, and they can now extend their calls for retribution to Ohio State and UCLA, where Schiano and Bradley are currently employed: http://deadspin.com/mike-mcqueary-claim ... 1783514641 |

Not good. Those insurance guys have a lot of good defenses. If the university and its employees did the right thing back in the 70's, most of the abuse would have been prevented. Why would the other coaches want to work around a guy like that? Seriously, if you saw a co-worker fondling a young boy in the company bathroom, would you really keep quiet? |

denisdman wrote: Seriously, if you saw a co-worker fondling a young boy in the company bathroom, would you really keep quiet? Absolutely not. But then again, we're not talking about Rhodes Scholars, here, these are the meatiest of the meathead college football coaches, and Paterno was a Kingmaker. I can easily see the promise of better pay and more responsibility simply for being associated with Paterno for a couple of years coloring how an genius meathead football coach responds to allegations of sexual abuse. It's sick and twisted, but I don't expect much more from guys that would be selling insurance if not for their ability to diagram weak-side blitz pressure from the nickel for unpaid teenage laborers. |

They are going to have experts on to show how important this issue is. What does Dan want from his audience? I understand that rape is bad, and so is the cover-up. Sandusky is in jail. The university is bleeding money to the victims. Most don't like JoePa. What else do I need to know? Why keep discussing this? |

Oh yeah that's right. I should look at the other way at bad behavior. I just figured people were happy that they knew how to make words rhyme so nicely. |

Dan needed security at that Happy Valley event. How long ago was that, and it just now comes out? You'd have heard about it every fucking day if Big Red Updater needed a bodyguard at anything. |

You'd have heard about it every fucking day if Big Red Updater needed a bodyguard at anything. I think that's old news ... perhaps not though. I don't wish Dan harm (other than the occasional wish for a cartoony anvil bouncing off his melon followed by stars or birds or whatever circling) but at the same time I don't particularly care either insofar as, if his own reports are to be believed (and I do), threats and what have you are part and parcel of the concerns MANY have when considering speaking out against the so-called "Joe-Bots" ... consequently, I don't know that it's particularly noteworthy nor newsworthy when the expected 'threats' are delivered ... it would be as such, however, if they were carried out - which I doubt would occur BUT were that to happen it at least might have the silver lining of bringing otherwise disinterested parties' attention to the matter in enough numbers that maybe it would tip the scales away from the gradual ebb back to 'business as usual, Paterno was God, 'football uber alles' that does appear to be happening. |

I believe him. My point was that Julie makes a fucking #morethanmean video for some troll tweets at her, while Dan receives/d far worse, and you don't hear bump. |

(a) Because she's a broad (b) Because she has no other way to get noticed (c) Because Dan's public persona tends to be kenneled within the confines of the radio booth; her nonsense is integral to her makeup 24/7 |

Having dozens and likely in the hundreds is a horrible enough story. That's just Rozner trying to sound like he knows more than other people. It's unnecessary and silly and sounds ridiculous. |

Well, it just keeps getting worse. They wanted one of the victims to write an apology letter to Sandusky. http://deadspin.com/court-docs-sandusky-victim-told-to-write-apology-lette-1783526182?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow |

SpiralStairs wrote: badrogue17 wrote: Snitches get stitches. That's the same thing Jerry's kids ended up needing. Ouch...ouch. But may I point out from one of today's Deadspin articles, the victim only alleged a finger in his rectum. Edit: "The victim, who was identified in court records as John Doe 150, said that while he was attending a football camp at Penn State, Sandusky touched him as he showered. Sandusky’s finger penetrated the boy’s rectum, Doe testified in court in 2014, and the victim asked to speak with Paterno about it. Doe testified that he specifically told Paterno that Sandusky had sexually assaulted him, and Paterno ignored it." |

Well, then what exactly about that board does Bernstein have to "deal with" as you put it? Also, doxxing isn't a crime, and believe me, the tone and tenor of places that are likely to dox and SWAT people are much, much, more unruly out in the open. These people aren't doing anything that Bernstein has to "deal with", that I can see. |

It's kind of a miracle that Illinois didn't hire Schiano to be their head coach 3 days before it comes out that he supports child sexual abuse. |

Post subject: | Re: 7/12: Back to State College |
You know, to be fair, I know Bernstein never believes anybody that has their name ever uttered with this story. But, Schiano is implicated by a guy who said another guy told him that Schiano told the 2nd guy something. It isn't exactly a recorded confession from Schiano. |
