I'm sure Mitch offered it to them and knowing Bernstien he said "No" cuz he just doesn't want to travel.

Goff and Spiegel are there. Everybody at ESPN 1000 is there. B&B just didn't want to be bothered with travel for A CUBS WORLD SERIES.

Probably not the best idea for Boers to be flying after whatever surgery/surgeries he just had, but whatever fits your narrative, Beardown.

Fine. Then old man Boers doesn't do the shows. He's out!!!! Send Rozner's ass out there with Bernstein.

Next man up!!!! This is radio. This is big. There is no sympathy in radio.

Exactly. Which means who gives a god damn flying fuck where they're broadcasting from.

The true story is that big bad Liberal Bernstain is too afraid to go near Ohio.

Terry could have done the show from his basement while Bernstein is in Cleveland. No difference then when Bernstein is at the studio and Terry is in his basement.

Cubs will make the World Series again. No need to freak if they lose. Bernstein has spoken.

They just said that today is exactly 5 years to the day that Theo Epstein was hired.

That's pretty cool.

Then it also means it's 5 years to the day where Fan Boy Bernstein wondered out loud of which Synagogue Theo would be attending.

That's also pretty cool.

He has already been to one when he was a Jerry Reinsdorf fan

Who said he is not home? They just said he is not in Mokena. He no longer lives in Mokena for a while now.

I hope Bernstein called his doctor 1,824 days and 20 hours ago.

Did I hear Goff congratulate Mitch during transition for being...whatever Mitch is...in this historic season for Cubs baseball while he was talking about how great it was that the station sent them to Cleveland?

Goff is too dumb to even suck up right.

Nice to hear Terry back.

Don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, but did Hub just say that the "feel-good" atmosphere with the Cubs this year is greater than it was with the '85 Bears?

Not a chance. The Cubs didn't make a "World Series Shuffle" video, nor did they every have an equivalent "Fridge" hitting home runs or striking guys out or a McMahon poking fun at Pete Roselle. I understand that Hub was catering to the Cubs crowd with his comments, but he is just plain wrong.

As a Sox fan, I couldn't name more than three players on the Cubs. I haven't watched a single game all year, because frankly I don't care about the Cubs and never have, other than when I used to like watching Lee Smith come on in relief back in the day and striking everyone out.

Apart from their manager in Maddon and Arrieta, these Cubs are a bunch of no-names without personalities. I'd take my 2005 White Sox with Guillen and Pierzinski over them any day of the week.

Yes, Goff said it...somehow, Mitch is responsible for the Cubs' success.

Did Bernsie have a heart attack when Schwarber went on for about 30 seconds about how fired up he gets hearing the fans and that it's his favorite thing in the world to get hyped up and make the crowd go crazy?

Or does Dan chalk that up to pandering?

Remember when Bernstein slathered that other boss for getting rid of Mac, then signing the Cubs to a contract that would ultimately get him fired?

If Bernstein has any integrity left, I hope he called him just about "out of town stupid" for that one. But I doubt it.

I don't think there is any baseball equivalent to the feelings the Bear defense created for its fans.

The Cubs are a national story.

The Bears were a national phenomenon.

Hub was a brown noser. Levine was Capt. Flakey. Now both are integral to the Score team

There's no equivalent of any team in the history of sports, at least, not in my life-time.

Do they still make stupid posters of NFL dudes like they did in the '80s.

I had a bunch of them. That Bears Miami Vice one springs to mind or the O-Line one.
