i find it pretty fucking amusing that after a week mostly comprised of horribly hypocritical and hamfisted "Radio SOCJUS" stuff the REALLY. IMPORTANT. RADIO. has ended and now the show's reverted back to being a SPORTS talk radio show... that nobody really listens to anymore anyways =D

it's like "good, now that bernstein's off of his "[anti-bully] pulpit" soapbox and everything's back to normal i can go back to not listening to the show like i normally do!" =D --- c'est la vie no?

btw, for what it's worth my dad (who was never a b&b guy or anything, but always would have the score in in-the-car/around-the-house by default) told me today that he's done with bernstein. he doesn't wanna listen to any of his bullshit anymore. believe it or not the soda tax talk from the other day was the tipping point for my dad.... i think all of the recent "Radio SOCJUS" stuff had wore him the fuck out, and then when he comes back to the show a couple'a days after the election ready to hear about chicago sports he instead hears bernstein championing the new soda tax and THAT was the point where my dad was just like "fuck that guy, i'm not listening to him anymore!" and i was surprised to hear AM 1000 on by default in the car today.

ah well, i'm not too worried cuz mitch knows that people like my dad will come back in droves once julie dicaro gets in the booth with dan for the long haul =P
