Just now during the ZZ hit Bernsie drops that he has made calls to his peeps to check on the Fox/Fangio thing. ZZ drops everything and questions that he made a call to check up on Mully's story! Dan sleazes back that he needed to satisfy his curiosity.  Bernsie, almost started a big turf war at WSCR with his throwaway "calls to his guys at ______". |

Yeah, Dan openly subverting the reliability of reports from not only a fellow co-host on his station, but one who is an actual journalist, is certainly grounds for a reprimand behind the scenes. |

Yet through the years Bernstein "claims" to have scoops. Zaidman never has anything. Seriously, he never breaks any stories. Partly cuz he's on the Bears pay roll. But you'd think he can get some info that doesn't hurt the Bears. So Bernstein pretty much makes Zack look like a bad reporter. What time did this happen? |
