Well it wasn't much of contest, but you'll still have to wait to the end to see who I tabbed as the top Patron.

First, the Remote "Remote" honorable mentions. These are the three folks who PM'd me during or after the remote.

Chus- MANY appreciate your efforts at CFMB (and CSFMB) towards gambling integrity.
Seacrest- From a distance you were part of the collective effort to help us find Captain "Kirk". Luckily, I got to meet him as he followed me into the bathroom.
IceGirl- Yes, it was nice to see IceGirl inquire about Drinky. IceGirl must be monitoring these boards as I posted about his "tight" little girlfriend at the remote. Pretty clear that IceGirl knows the new squeeze. IceGirl, this place is better with you around. Stop by and post anytime.

The Remote Contenders

WaitingForRuffy- This Sox fan hails from my hometown but also my rival high school. Yeah the Mecca is that big. It was great to meet you. We'll have to talk more about Messmer & Associates. You're way too normal to be hanging around this place.

JORR- No event is complete without JORR. To that end, we have to send a limo or something to get you out to Lakemoor Fest this year. We love JORR for all his determined thoughts and ideas. He was pretty tame as I think board band outing damn near killed him.

WZ & Guest- Glad you guys could make it. I believe you interacted with the Stnkfinger. Let us know of anything of note was said.

Leash- My fellow insurance dude was well dressed and thirsty. Most notably he was begging for a drink when the waitress had already brought him a fresh one. As one of my best friends on board, anytime I get to see you is a good day.

Spiral- Just what the world needs, another lawyer. But if it must be, then Spiral's your guy. Love the beard. Not sure if anyone else noticed (I am sure you did Spiral), you were a "tad" sweaty.

Don- Without this CFMB legend, we would have lacked a place to sit. He acquired and fiercely defended two tables against a flood of anxious Score listeners. If you don't love Don, then you're not human.

SH- You're playing coy old boy. As Teddy KGB said in Rounders, "Pay him, pay that man his money." For all of our sanity, pay Chus!

Baby- You were there. I missed you. Darn.

Kirkwood- Nice catching up with you. You disappeared like a fart in the wind.

The Mention. Just to keep Sini off my fucking back.

CH- No you weren't there. You didn't PM me. But you were talked about for your great avatars. Your painting of Monetize is still considered an all time great. Happy Sini? And if you haven't noticed, CH and I have had a few civil conversations lately. Deal with it.

The Finalists-

Dan Bernstein- My God you are full of surprises. Sure you feigned knowledge of this message board. But you were cordial and let us take pictures with you. Sure, I was only doing it for the height debate, and I fucked that up royally by leaning like a European designed tower. But you stopped by and gave us lots of time and thoughts. You were down to earth and generally pleasant. No doubt you are a Sox fan at heart. But like most Americans, even Liberals, you care about the pocket book enough to know that the Cubs move the needles. Others may fault you for that. I do not. I applaud your effort to do well for your family and your employer. You also gave us some inside tidbits on the Cubs and other stuff.

Unfortunately, Dan, you came on strong, but the winner is most certainly.....

FF- My guy. Out all night the day before, he rounded into form like a two bit nag. He spilled his second drink, and then proceeded to spill a few more throughout the course of the night. The attempted theft of B&B cutouts will go down in CFMB lore. You almost made it! Your drunk inquisition of Bernstein had Leash shaking his head. Bernstein took you seriously, but I could see he was thinking "Meatball" the entire time. You were truly the star of the night. God only knows what you did after I left.

Well, TM, I hope you enjoyed this edition. We missed you last night.

I started to think that the spilling of drinks was a bit or something. It was one every 20 minutes.

Great to meet everyone as well. Sorry I had to leave. Getting the kitchen redone and there was an "emergency" at home that I had to get back for. I owe someone a beer next time.

Wonder what will happen to the Boers stand-up that FF almost walked off with.

A necessary correction to this comment. When I made this comment, it was under a false assumption. While IceGirl does the know the "squeeze", the squeeze is not new. That is all.

Yep right up 90. Would love to but not this trip. In some ways a trip to Chicago is weird. I get so many family demands friends and aquaintences get mad at me. It's like I have to come and not tell family and make a friends trip.
