Not just that. I've heard Bernstein say a few times, "Did you read that article, Jason?" To which Jason would say "No". That's Bernstein telling him he's more well read and prepared than he is.

They were talking about movies around 4:50 yesterday and saying how Jewish movie executives would get in trouble for making said film today. Goff reeled (pun intended) hypothetical Jewish guys that would get in trouble like Mr. Gold.

They were talking about summer camp. Goff asked if "people like my son" could go to this camp. Danny said sure, just write a check for $7,000. He also said my son's counselor is Nigerian. So he basically said if black people can't afford it, they are allowed to work there.

Yeap that's my point. With having a black/Jewish partner, it kind of allows them the freedom to make those inside jokes at one another when two gentile white guys would (should) largely avoid those insinuations. I like the stereotype jokes...they are funny and totally in jest.

They even dug the well on gay type jokes when referencing Mike Murphy last week. I was a bit surprised by that.

I went to Mackinaw Island for an insurance conference two years ago. I was struck by the number of Jamaicans and Asian (Filipinos I guess) foreigners serving food at that place. It seems like such an out of the way place for immigrants to get a summer job. It took me two flights, a two hour car drive, and a ferry to get to the island from Chicago.

Leash maybe you read it this way, but I certainly did. When we met him, it sounded like he is in the lowest social strata and income bracket among his group of friends. He was pretty direct in saying that his friends are much smarter than him- hedge fund guys and the like. So you're probably right.

I've never lived North Shore. One of the best things about being in the Dundee area is that the bars are loaded with blue collar guys. They are the most decent, patently down to earth Midwest folks I have ever met. My wife and I were driving home from dinner last Friday, and we were passing Rookies on Randall. We made a bet on whether two of such guys were at the bar because they hang out there all the time. You've got a lot of guys bending an elbow to Miller Lite after work.

I see people I know in literally every bar in the area, and it is a comforting feeling.
