This is the new show thread for today. The other thread is meant for race discussion. Shep is the new drinky. He's trying to take the path of a younger drinky. Be the B&B producer and do weekends and late nights. All in the hopes of being a full time host. Both drinky I and drinky II are dumb asses. Both aren't well spoken. It's kind of interesting that they are doing a show together. 2017 Drinky is basically doing a show with 2005 drinky. Discuss. |

Three times I turned to it, and twice they were engrossed in political discussion and I had to PTFB. As few coherent thoughts as they have about sports, they have less about politics. Shep is from Coal City. He should be a starter at the golf course and work at Casey's. That he escaped and made it to Chicago is astounding. The one sports thought they had was about Maddon backtracking about using Zobrist primarily at 2B, except Joe was saying "in Spring Training." No shit, Zobrist doesn't need a lot of work in a spring training which is extended by the WBC. [Hell, I'm surprised that they even let him show up, I'd have told him to go back home and bang his wife until four weeks before Opening Day.] But Shep seemed all jazzed up about this because he wants Baez starting at 2B as much as possible. |

I also think "IMS" stands for something like "Inflamed Mandible Syndrome," which would be a more believable conceit for most of them than their radio acumen. |
