I have zero interest in that movie. I can't see how that comes out well.

Does David Caruso have any kids? One of them could play McQueary

I hope he plays him like that. Like a screaming maniac even though Joe probably wasn't that way. Especially in his last few years when he was just a senile old man.

But Pacino turned into the screaming actor. It probably started with Sent of a women.

Pacino: WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE RAPED A BOY IN THE SHOWER!!!!!! I'M GONNA TAKE A FLAME THROWER TO HIM.

Bernstein is wondering about the market for this "Penn State rape" movie. He doesn't think there is one.

I'll bet it turns a profit. I mean they got Al Pacino. His fans will come just to see him. And despite the fact that this isn't about college football, a lot of sports fans would want to see it.

Other then paying Pacino his 15 or 20 million, I'm sure they'll get a lot of no name actors to play the rest of the cast. So they won't pay them much. One location. It will just be filmed on some college campus I assume. No special effects. So it will be cheap to make.

I'll bet they do at least 80 million. Which means a profit.

I doubt Penn State will allow them to film on their actual campus, however. They don't want to endorse this movie, obviously.

I do wonder how they're going to portray Paterno. As the evil guy that he was. Or as a sympathetic guy.

Beerdown would have known that the article stated it is an HBO movie so it wont have a box office draw.

I had to enlarge this on my phone because I was sure this was Beerdown.

I didn't read the article. Sorry. Anyway, lots of people will watch this on HBO. So this movie will help their brand. I don't know how they measure that. But it will help.

I'm here on the ground with my nose in it since the whole thing began. I've nurtured every sensation Jerry Sandusky's been inspired to have. I cared about what he wanted and I never judged him. Why? Because I never rejected him. And he's one hell of a linebacker coach. In spite of all his imperfections, I'm a fan of Jerry! I'm a humanist. Maybe the last humanist.
