Laughed at a question and said it was funny to hear female reporters talk about football.

In a perfectly honest society we could say that women have every right to do that job, obviously, but that not a single time have they been anything more than eye candy with poor sports thoughts.

Well, this is going to be a bunch of revisionist history. And now Jason doesn't like Cam Newton and is walking back his support, thanks to some comments made in a press conference today

"In my opinion, some of the remarks were unacceptable, especially in certain people's position," Newton said. "But at the end of the day, we still need to work in our society as a whole. We definitely need work on this team as far as performance and productions and one thing about it on both fronts: I will do my job.

"I will stay in my lane, but at the end of the day, we are all entitled to our own opinion. It's been an epidemic, so to speak, in this country for quite some time, and I just feel as if certain things happening doesn't make it right, on both sides. I'm just going to keep doing the things that I can control, especially with my foundation -- making people aware and, hopefully, that makes an impact, for what it's worth."

Jason dropped the hammer on Cam earlier in the week, though, disowning all of Cam's Black Thoughts (like his raised fist on Sunday) because of what Newton had said last year after a meeting with the Panther's owner vis a vis anthem protests:



For that, Jason revoked Cam's Black Card.

Cam Newton thread: My introduction to football as a toddler came from Deerfield next-door-neighbor Dr. Louise Paine, who interrupted my dad to explain that he was showing me the wrong way to grip the ball. She then demonstrated proper form as my 29-year-old dad ran routes. She said "post," "flag," "button-hook," and explained to me what each was designed to to, firing the ball each time. I was 4. She then showed me on TV how the routes my dad ran were on TV right there, and how to identify them. She was principal of Glenbrook North HS at the time, and was instrumental in me caring about sports. She knew the WRs' routes.
