Goff said he has holes in his retina because his contacts have been too strong or something like that. Bernstein belittled him saying he shouldn't take advice from a guy at a store front "Lenscrafters". That he should see a real ass doctor. Goff got mad that Bernstein didn't think he was a "grown ass man" and would get his medical advice from a dumb ass. |

Bernstein suggested he should see a proctologist for his eyes? |

How ironic would that be if Goff went blind? The person who always sees race would no longer be able to see race. That would be the most difficult part of being blind for Goff. |

Then again, knowing Goff, even if he's blind, he would make all "new" people he meets declare their race, color and creed before he would talk to them. I'm talking detail. Couldn't just tell blind Goff that you're black. He'll want to know light or dark skinned. |

How would you know the guy on the radio is blind if he never says anything about it? How do we know there aren't a bunch of blind people at the score. |

Didn't make sense to me either. No doc good doc would give you the wrong prescription. I'll bet that's what Goff is saying. I'm guessing the real reason is that Goff probably wears his disposable contacts too long. For months at a time. Sleeps with them. But Goff doesn't want to admit that. I was guilty of that when I was younger. Was told that's not good for you. So then I decided to go long stretches without wearing contacts. My sight isn't that bad. I can drive fine without them. I just need them when I'm in an upper deck at a baseball game. Or when I want to see the stripper that is on the far pole at the other end of the club. To be honest, after not wearing my contacts for a while, I found that my sight improved. I googled it and read that it is possible for your sight to improve if you don't always rely on contacts or glasses. |

Consider the source first and foremost It seems strange that his Rx would be so inappropriately strong that it would be causing it but it is possible. People that are high-end nearsighted are susceptible irrespective of correction. Anyway, this sounds like fun: How is a macular hole treated? Although some macular holes can seal themselves and require no treatment, surgery is necessary in many cases to help improve vision. In this surgical procedure–called a vitrectomy–the vitreous gel is removed to prevent it from pulling on the retina and replaced with a bubble containing a mixture of air and gas. The bubble acts as an internal, temporary bandage that holds the edge of the macular hole in place as it heals. Surgery is performed under local anesthesia and often on an out-patient basis. Following surgery, patients must remain in a face-down position, normally for a day or two but sometimes for as long as two-to-three weeks. This position allows the bubble to press against the macula and be gradually reabsorbed by the eye, sealing the hole. As the bubble is reabsorbed, the vitreous cavity refills with natural eye fluids. Maintaining a face-down position is crucial to the success of the surgery. Because this position can be difficult for many people, it is important to discuss this with your doctor before surgery. How in the high holy hell would a person constantly stay face-down for a couple of weeks ???? edit: adding source -- https://nei.nih.gov/health/macularhole/macularhole |

But I hope Goff doesn't go blind. So my thoughts and prayers go out to Jason. (Oh wait, B&G don't like that) Thoughts and prayers anyway. Goff brought it up casually so I think he's confident he can get the proper treatment. |

Looks like there are 3 stages according to that web site. Goff might be in stage one where it can heal on its own without surgery. Says this mostly happens to people in their 60s. Goff's ass is too young for this. We need Goff too see shit. The world would be a worse place if he can't. Would Mitch employ Goff if Goff goes blind? I say "Yes". Because Goff would sue the SCORE for racism and blindism. To be honest, Goff would be a better host if he can't see the games. I think a blind Goff would have awesome rants because he wouldn't give a shit at that point. He'd be more sexist and more racist. That would be awesome. So what if he can't see the Bears or Cubs game. That's really not a part of the show anymore anyway. But like I said, I hope Goff recovers. Good luck, Jason. |

Goff isn't good at explaining stuff sometimes. Sometimes I don't know what he's saying. He often gets lost in his rambling rants. |

Goff has said that Stevie Wonder is not really blind. That he fakes being blind to get sympathy from hot women so they will bang him. Maybe Goff has decided to pull that scam. He's planting the seed now. But he'll be outed when he's sitting at his crib with his buddies, pretending to be blind, Lebron will do a 360 dunk in traffic, Goff will break character and say... Goff: Lebron James!!!!! Did you just see what that mother fucker did? Buddies: (Silence) (Shock) Goff: Ummm, cuz I didn't see it. You know. Cuz I'm blind. I just reacted to the announcers call. Really. Can somebody put the bowl of chips on my lap. I would get them myself, but, ya know, I'm blind and all. |
