Yep. Goff gave some great insight into his freshman year football season experience - so great he had to retire at its conclusion.

What happened? Did the second string guard from the New Trier "B" team step on his head?

God damn Goff is annoying. Dan is clearly annoyed with him, too. Told him to stop the “hello, I can’t hear you” crap, yet he kept going.

Just tuned in and heard Jason state, “that wraps up straight through 2.” Are B&G doing a commercial free hour now?

Heard this too. Dan said, "Stop, why are you doing this?" It wasn't funny because the caller wasn't a dumbass.

I've been on this for a week or two. Dan is clearly getting frustrated at points with Jason. Watching the facebook stream at times, Dan is visibly frustrated with Jason. It's kind of funny...the cameras are so unobtrusive, I think both guys forget they're on film every day.

Dan partly has himself to blame for half-heartedly trying to assume "the Terry role" early in the partnership. Now Jason thinks his big black stud wang-whippin' ass is the real-ass driver of the show, yeah yeah yeah. He (or "it," the bbsww ass) isn't.

Seems a little desperate. Ad buys must be low. A lot more work for B&G—60 minutes of content versus probably 40.

JLN’s comments on ratings must be true. No station does commercial free hours if they can avoid it.

Silvy and Waddle did that once in a while when they were pretty far behind in the ratings...

Yeah, that was weird...I just listened to an extended commercial-free segment of Dan asking movie trivia questions to the crew. It was actually a breath of fresh air. The best part was when Dan said he didn't like The Sandlot that much because of the way people had built it up to be a great movie, and Tannehill pounced, "Dan, tell me which people. Don't just say 'people'...I want names!"

There are times when I think that Tannehill and Grote are the only useful pieces at the station.

if the alternative is Mully and Hanley style where they take a commercial every 6 minutes and every other return from commercial to say 3 words before another break...ugh. bad choices.

Commercials are an improvement over B&G

personally, i dont need anymore concussion talk from B&G... however, it would appear more people do need to take the time to understand what is known about CTE.... based on the facebook and M&H listener reaction to the duerson act... it seems as if 95% of the public doesn't understand what causes CTE. "don't tell me how to raise my kid" type reaction is all i see/hear

no. their schedule is easy to decipher.

It goes something like:

6:00 - 6:05 - scoreboard
6:05 - 6:20 - segments
6:20 - 6:25 - commercial
6:25 - traffic
6:25 - 6:40 - segment/scoreboard
6:40 - 6:45 - commercials
6:45 - 6:55 - segment
6:55 - 7:00 - commercials

them coming back is doing a live read.
