but I hope he doesn't do it.

Jason acted like a complete punk towards him for the better part of five years. He mocked Dan's addictions. He kicked him while he was down. He insinuated bigotry and stupidity. Anything Mac would say in response right now would be appropriate. I hope he takes the higher road.

I assume Jason is reading the board today. I hope you learn from this experience.

In the past Mac has been much more direct with his beefs it seems. He’s had lots of opportunities to take shots, passive or not, at Goff or others and has basically refrained so I don’t see him doing it now.

Mac is a hybrid of a vulture and cockroach but he's had enough struggles in recent years to be humble.

My guess would be that he doesn't grave dance, but will take thinly veiled shots here and there.

He has the opportunity and upperhand, I agree. I just hope and think that as a 50 plus year old guy he’s had enough ups and downs to not dance too much. If he does, he does but I’m not expecting any shots.

Mac will take the high road because he has been in that position before.

I love Danny Mac and am now for the first time in 4 years once again a regular Score listener.

The chickens have come to roost for The Producers. Murph is still on radio and Mac is in afternoon drive.

Well said.

and it's even more slimy because it wasnt even Goff's legitimate dislike of McNeil. It was to please Bernstein as the Score's #1 Mean Girl.

Or he's a talented host who keeps getting opportunities because the Score can't develop new voices.

He delivers ratings. I'll be upset if Parkins isn't #1. He's clearly the best they have.

I wouldn't grave dance but I can't say I'm unhappy. They are all assholes and I hope they are feeling that. I hope Mac is successful and can keep it together this time. That '09-'14 was awful and even the 2 years before that were pretty blah. He needs to be interested this time, maybe he will he has a little bit to prove again.

Parkins is CLEARLY better than Mac now and he's earned the #1 slot. Mac has a solid tree.

I don't disagree, but I guess the question is which Score elder is best at nurturing new talent. Clearly it isn't Bernstein.

Bernstein never tried too though. why train your replacement?

It would be so satisfying for Mac, as an opening to his first show, to queue up that clip of Bernstein congratulating management for firing Mac. Let him sit there and squirm at his weasely words to bosses who are no longer there for him.

Mac is the guy that brought me in to Radio for Men i.e, sports radio. He moves the meter for me. Great to see him back.
