All right. Here it goes.

This is not about dancing on graves.

But it's true.

When Drinky and Goff were kids, a decade + ago, I told them not to do it. Don't go "Full Bernstein". Don't copy him. I told them they weren't equipped to do it. Didn't have the intelligence or skill to pull it off. I think I once told drinky to be the Mike North kind. Which is what he was/is. At least more like North than Bernstein.

Goff was a good kid when he was the producer. Had he just done 50% Bernstein it would have worked for him. He went to Atlanta, got fired, came back, and became 150% Bernstein. Even Bernstein knew it and was shocked by his new partner. Bernstein never liked working with Goff. Bernstein was sick of the constant RACE talk. He was annoyed by the constant laughing and interruptions. He was offended by Goff talking over him.

Drink and Goff didn't want to listen.

B&G just never worked. And it was obvious from day one.

NEVER GO FULL BERNSTEIN.

A decade ago I was told by drinky and Goff that I was just a dumb ass cracker on a message board. That I didn't know what I was talking about.

It's over for them at the SCORE. I wish them well. Not spiking the ball like Goff and drinky would do to others.

But I can save others.

This is a cautionary tale for the other cracker producers at the SCORE.

NEVER GO FULL BERNSTEIN.

Just try to be yourself.

It sounds like when Goff came back to the score to co host he got too full of himself. Maybe that was his downfall. I want a follower of his so just guessing.

Two things:

1) It is ok to post with your pants down today.

2) Be nice to the girl.

In the end, it wasn't gonna work out for drinky either way. Going FULL BERNSEIN or being himself. Cuz he's a dumb ass.

But Goff could have done it. There was something there before Atlanta when he was a producer. He was a good kid. But he went off the rails. We all heard it. We all were frightened by it. And I think it's a shame.

Goff once moved souls but eventually sold his own to Bernstein.

Alright, Jason, we all know you're here.

Here's some advice. Don't go unhinged on twitter like you've been doing. Stop that. That's bad optics.

GO UNHINGED HERE.

It's better for you. Future employers won't read this board. But twitter is for everybody to see.

I figure you're on your 4th Scotch by now. Once you finish the 6th, I expect you to post. Let's talk about this shit. There are more questions.

We gotta figure out how this went down. Bernstein's angle. Mitch being a bitch. DA MA NA working this for months. All that shit.

Did you ever listen to the show in Atlanta? Goff’s partner was a dope. Very Vanilla. Old wrinkly fat white dude that had never done radio. I think he covered Georgia football previously. There was no chemistry what so ever. I listened a handful of times. From the beginning, I think he thought “listen you weird old Georgia man, this is how you do radio” and resorted to being like Bernstein. I forget the young Boston dude from the Atlanta station but maybe if Goff got paired with him, he would’ve never moved back. Those 2 had much better chemistry. I think it was more like “He went to Atlanta, became 150% Bernstein, got fired, came back.”

Am I allowed to post in the other 500 threads on this?

And I'll start a new thread if I think of a new angle, thank you. The crackers of Chicago come here when sports radio news breaks. I owe it to them.

Christ, the sports radio guys come here when news break. This is the place to be when shit goes down.

Post in any other of the threads, but dont start a new thread every time your mind comes up with some new thought.

I am sure you do.

You are probably worried because you have no one left to get a hard on for.

But fret not I am sure you will come up with a new victim or two

Drinky and Goff might be radio dead.

But I'm still alive. Still radio active. Nobody would have took those odds 10 years ago.

Beardown, which song did you play on a loop as you posed in front of your bathroom mirror all afternoon?

What songs would Goff use to describe this.

Goff to Bernstein's new partner:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPcyTyilmYY

Goff's revenge on Mac: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HmuFuRPv6o

THIS.

Jason sounded different (and much better) when he was in Atlanta

The same can be told to good dolphin who completely blows up the board with new threads when there is a significant change with radio talent, and Bears draft picks.

I liked Good Dolphin's threads.

Like I always say, you guys bitch too much. A newspaper has several headlines. It's not just one long script where you read about obituaries and then all of a sudden a sports story. That would be stupid.

Big events require more threads. You guys are idiots for not realizing that.
