It's just true. I just got done listening to the last hour of Spiegel tonight. He at least has a personality and some life stories. With Goff, as I've said before he got fired, he can be amusing. Goff was always funny when he wasn't trying to be funny. His ignorance, stupidity and self importance was amusing. Goff being a crazy ass mother fucker was amusing. I sometimes even liked him hating "Whitey".
McNight is simply nothingness. He's polite and boring. He's not funny. DeCastro says he's young. But does he sound young to you? Not to me. If you didn't know his age you'd think he was 50+. Dan McNeil sounds younger then him cuz he's talking porn, gambling and pot. McNight frowns upon such talk because he wants to have this image of being proper.
I'm not saying Goff was good. You know that. But if you're gonna replace Goff, do better then fucking McNight.
Mac > Goff & Spiegel. So they got that right.
But either Goff or Spiegel should have been kept over McNight.
I caught a lot of it running some errands. It was decent radio. Unfortunately the station has become unlistenable from 5am to 1PM. Goff was alright until all he did was giggle and cackle all show long. The more i listen to McKnight and Haugh the more I long for any kind of personality. Either Spiegel or Goff would be a much better options for the 2 new guys they brought in for mornings or midday. They already tried Berstein and Goff so they cant go back to that and I am starting to think that Mulligan cant really work with many people. Could he possibly be on the chopping block soon? Haugh cant carry a show. He doesnt even add any value as a sidekick. I dont know how they shake things up at this point but it might be time to start rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
