Too bad he wasn't hired full time when the reshuffle happened. |

He is on right now with Laurence. I only heard about five minutes of it in the car, but he was talking about Whitehair and (Pro Bowl QB) Trubisky and he gave the most cogent description I've ever heard about the way in which the QB and center sync up their reads of the defensive line and jointly set the protection. |

He's really good discussing football |

Hes great. They should have put him with bwrnstein but nooo they had to hire Jason "salsa shark" Goff instead |

I think he would struggled every day. He is perfect in the role he serves. |

In the past I've batted around the idea of the Score doing a year-round Bears show in middays the way Toronto radio does for the Maple Leafs. "Leafs Lunch," they call it. Something like that would be perfect for Herron, either year-round or as a seasonal show, but I can see why the station might want the continuity of every show being Last Name & Other Last Name all year every year. |

Being better than Goff at this point is a pretty low bar. |

The thing about Briggs is that he was such an asshole at the end of his career that I have a hard time embracing him in this Mr. Bear role which he has taken. |

He is not nearly as articulate as Herron and approaches Connor McKnight levels of dull. During transition with McNeil and Parkins Laurence will tout "90 minutes of Lance Briggs!", which is about 89 too many. |
