same old affected dickhead

First words out of his mouth were about his superior knowledge of brie. Those were followed by how he takes his children to restaurants of all cultures.

It really is a much better station when he is absent from my consciousness.

Last week I also listened to DB for the first time in a while since I was away from the office. He ripped a caller who was concerned that Kris Bryant was no good, and then half an hour later, he asked Patrick Mooney of the Athletic why Bryant was no good.

+1 It speaks volumes about the lack of quality programming on ESPN when they couldn't take over as the #1 sports station in town during the Berstein and Goff's sports version of "The View"

I tuned in and the “who’s your guy” bit was in progress. Basically, B and M reading the bios of obscure college football players with exaggerated inflection so they sound smart. Given the Bears’ lack oh high draft picks, this segment is particularly inane this year.

had another opportunity today. I'm just thrilled that he is largely quarantined from society during mid days.

They were at Wrigley so you knew it would be hug a corporate partner day. In a layer cake of hipster pandering he was extoling the greatness of the Do Right donuts at Wrigley serving Old Style.

I doubt the whiny wine connoisseur ever drinks beer and I promise you an Old Style has never touched his lips.

I've been picking up on this disingenuous streak in him recently. I can't tell if I'm noticing something that's been there all along, or he's changed in some way.

Do Rite Donuts are tasty. I thought it was hipster bullshit but they’re good. But they’re absurdly expensive

I have been listening to Mac and Parkins more and more even if it is day-old episodes. It is a much superior show.

Bernstein looks like his next words are going to be either:

"WHAT?"

or

"I can't find my pills."

I don't get the whole "McKnight is so handsome" talk. Maybe they are just comparing him to themselves.

To be fair it's a candid shot taken at an unflattering angle.

They said they same thing about Rongey. When you compare them to other people who work or have worked at the station like Grobstein, Boers, North, Parkins, and Leery, those two are good looking. Compared to the general population, though, they are not.

McKnight always looks like he goes out of his way to get an unflattering haircut.

Rongey is a handsome enough man, though I probably wouldn't notice him in a crowded room. Connor, however, is tall with an athletic lean build. Physically, better looking than Rongey. I wouldn't turn down a drink from him (Connor)
