The Score has become unlistenable if there isn't a huge story to carry the show. Dan is bad enough, but now you add a lady to the mix. When was the last time you sprinted to the car radio to hear what a lady thought about sports? Fabulous Sports Babe? |

I think this does really show how far Dan, and The Score in general has fallen. This seems like something ESPN national would do, and the Final Four would be "LeBron as a Cav", "LeBron as a Heat", "LeBron as a Laker", and "LeBron as a leader for Social Justice". |

There is zero chemistry between them. Today, in the 30 minutes or so I listened while driving around town, there were at least two occasions when Dan said to Leila, "you know about x, right?" (with x being a reference to some old player or story). One of them was about Clifford Ray, a player from the 70s who was a statistical comp to Joakim Noah. Dan: "You know about Clifford Ray, right?" (Awkward pause) Leila: "No..." Dan: "There is a famous story about how Clifford Ray, thanks to his huge wingspan, was able to reach into a dolphin's mouth and retrieve a piece of metal in its belly that was making it sick." |

I don’t quit get the idea behind this. Did they all get together and decide that what everyone really wanted is a tournament of good. I can’t imagine that there is possibly more than one person alive that believes any part of this would be must listen radio. This sounds like it would be a better fit as a segment on NPR done by the guy with the really creepy voice. I know it is nothing I would ever listen to. |
