These dopes had to be joking, right? Dylan Cease alone isn't enough to get Joc Peterson? They had to be joking. It sure didn't sound like it though. Normally Bernstein would rip into an idiotic proposal like this. If they were serious, they know absolutely nothing about baseball. Embarrassing. |

The entire station has compromised its integrity since they became partners with the cubs with no host moreso than Bernstein. Joc Pederson will be traded for salary relief and a non prospect. I think there is a chance that Petersen comes back to the Cubs in 2022. The Cubs were the only team who would give him a chance to play every day and not just in a platoon role. He's not good enough to be a 500 PA starter for a playoff team, so his best deal might be to come back to Chicago and play every day on a fourth place team. |

There is no way you can interpret that as them indulging a listener's stupidity. Dan, of course, wanted to display how tuned into the game he is by jumping on the newest topic of conversation in baseball. However, I really think Rahimi just didn't know what she was talking about.
