As the second full day of the NCAA Tournament tips, Terry & Dan B. are on the road again today for the regular "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour", broadcasting live from 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park today 1-6p on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com. There's a lot of ground to cover and laughs too during the 5 hour live broadcast.

For starters, the "play-in" games for the 2012 "Tournament of Bad" tip at 2p this afternoon at tournamentofbad.com. The real NCAA Tournament continues with games in Columbus, OH, Nashville, Greensboro, NC & Omaha, and chances are pretty good BTN's Tim Doyle will have analysis on the games of note as they happen.

As for the Bulls, Derrick Rose likely sits out this weekend's back-to-back games vs. the Blazers and interim head coach Kaleb Canelis tonight and tomorrow night vs. the 76ers at United Center due to groin soreness, not to mention the fact the Bulls will sport green for St. Patrick's Day tomorrow. The Blackhawks with Corey Crawford in goal face the Stars in Dallas tonight, and here's hoping Corey is no longer bad at hockey after replacing an ineffective Ray Emery vs. the Blues in the 2nd period the other night. All of that and more between NOW & 6p when Laurence Holmes can be heard at his regularly scheduled time and flying solo.

I'm going to guess Dan will mention the poll where a majority of voters in PA favored renaming Beaver Stadium in honor of JoePa.

Let's not get Bernsy started. I think Pennsylvania itself is the #1 overall seed in the "Tournament of Bad".

That didn't take long. It's a bad idea to begin with, too, especially all the chaos still at that university in (Un)Happy Valley...

Has Terry ever recorded that, especially when he's not there, and we're stuck with guys like Laurence & the Daily Herald's Barry Rozner subbing from time to time?

I get the groin soreness, but why are the green uniforms making him sit out?

I went to college in Pennsylvania, and outside of central PA (which everyone acknowledges as "Pennsyltucky"), absolutely no one gives a shit about Penn State. The Paterno-apologist crowd is loud and stupid, but essentially insignificant. Dan's napalm thing is basically the equivalent of Howard Eskin saying the entire state of Illinois should be wiped off the map because a few downstate yahoos are still buying Chief merchandise.

But hey, it's good to know we can add Pennsylvania to the list of Places Dan Has Clearly Never Been But Is More Than Willing To Lecture Us About.

Those Board of Trustee town hall meetings in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh seemed to indicate otherwise.

I wasn't aware that the entire population of Pennsylvania was in attendance.

I'm not disputing that PSU's a fucked-up place full of fucked-up people. But calling Paterno "the Pope of Pennsylvania," let alone "the most powerful man in the state," is an act of such staggering, laughable ignorance that it makes me think they're trolling, but for who? The only people who don't PTFB at Penn State talk at this point are ball-washers like Maddux Boy who agree with everything Dan says anyway.

Is Dan really gonna try give Cutler shit for saying the Marshall acquisition was the best news this offseason rather than finding out he's gonna be a dad?

After "shitting on the joy" of Spiegs after his son was born?

Really?

Really?!

I agree.

Just giving you a hard time. Maybe next time don't say absolutely no one outside central Pennsylvania cares about Penn State.

Post subject:  Re: 3/16: "TOB" Tips Live from 115 Bourbon Street

Here's the game plan, in addition to "Tournament of Bad" play-in games "tipping" at 2p live from 115 Bourbon Street:

*3:30p: "The Second Half"
*TBA: Former ESPN.com NBA scribe Chris Sheridan-SheridanHoops.com
*5p-ish: "A Chicago Football Report" w/RED ALERT! RED ALERT!

"Scoreboard Updates": Ben Finfer
Studio Producers: Herb Lawrence & Brett Lyons
On-Site Producers: Zack Withers
On-Site Engineer: Rich Wyatt

Terry's "two favorite words in show business", Laurence Holmes, follows the guys at 6p back at 2 Prudential Plaza. Because The SCORE is short on staff, Yahoo! Sports Radio follows Laurence at 10p this eve.

You are correct. It's CBS2's Vince Gerasole. Let's spell the man's name right if we are to mention him. Thank you.

Well, in all fairness, they were in central Pennsylvania at some point. And once you get that stink on you, it never washes out.

See, now you're making me think like Dan. Stop doing that.
