After a few days away, Dan Bernstein returns to guide the "Boers & Bernstein Show" this afternoon. No sooner does Bernsy & Terry Boers introduce themselves to Chicago, the guys will start their show with the comedy that's the introductory press conference that's new Illinois head basketball coach John Groce. Frequent listeners of this program know what that means...

In addition to the bumbling, stumbling & fumbling over this hire, the guys will likely mention the Bulls' latest win. It was the Bulls' NBA high 25th double digit win of this crammed season in Atlanta last night and why Bernsy things life without Derrick Rose remains strange, as he wrote on Twitter during the ballgame.

There's also the $64,000 question regarding who will be the White Sox closer as the team is nearing the end of Spring Training, and pitching coach Don Cooper's snarky response. There's also the matter of the Cubs continuing to punk the Red Sox with news that reliever Chris Carpenter, part of the Theo Epstein compensation going back to Boston, needing elbow surgery. :oops:

All of that and Gary from Evanston's favorite segment come 5p this afternoon...You know what it is. All on the Thursday "B & B Show"...

"B & B's" college football guy, BTN's Gerry DiNardo, always mentions "winning the press conference". I don't think the new Illini head basketball coach has a clue...

That's true...What I meant is that Gail Fischer was doing hard news in Rockford and at CLTV before shifting to sports reporting/anchoring at the former FOX Sports Chicago & now at CSN.

Rockford is a real place, SJ. What's the matter with you? Bernsy used to work there when there was a team called the CBA Rockford Lightning. Long before he joined The SCORE.
