Yeah. I don't think you really understand what you're talking about.
1st of all yeah, he's a 3rd liner. That doesn't mean he's not good enough to make a top 1-2 line. It just so happens that this team is pretty fucking stocked on top 1-2 forwards. He COULD play 1-2 on many teams I think.
Your caller didn't say he would be a 50 goal scorer. He said SPECIFICALLY it was a small sample size, but 15 goals in his service time is a guy who can score. And you caller is right.
Burn Stine, I guess you just didn't understand the player in question. I don't blame you but don't play like your caller was stupid. He wasn't.

Either way, if he was, he's doing really, really bad job at it. Meaning he probably isn't trying to do that and they simply have no clue about hockey.

No that's not what he's doing. He is also exposing himself as a guy who doesn't really understand what he's yapping about but treats people like shit while doing it. Burn Stine is wrong on this one, but him and his lap dog Teary (who rarely says anyting off the reservation from Bernsie) just dump on the guy. Fuckin caller was right. That third line depth is important. That's like saying your middle bullpen doesn't matter, just plug a guy in in the playoffs.

Thanks once again. You guys continue to give me reasons not to listen. It feels good to be about 6 months Score free except for the 15 minutes I caught on Mac's first day back. And I listen to Sox games.....that is pure entertainment for me.

Stop using that as an excuse for BernSTINE really not knowing anything about which he speaks. Especially on hockey.

The thing is, no one is getting mad. Just simply pointing out that BernSTINE has no clue about what he's talking about. It's big news and he is forced to cover it, unfortunately he is forced to cover something that is way, way outside his knowledge base.

Again, we aren't debating whether people are turning the radio off because Danny B. makes them hopping mad. We are simply talking about him have really, really bad sports thoughts. Whether people listen or not is immaterial.

Hydrolyze face Bernstein doesn't feel he knows enough hockey jargon to feel that he impresses a Maddux Boy or Quad City Pat.

Every once in a while he'll toss out the "Neutral Zone Trap", "Slew Foot" or G-O-D forbid "Waffle Boarding".
He somewhat dislikes the NHL and really dislikes their typical (think of groups he hates) fans.

Dan knows that the Blackhawks are a lot closer to the 3rd most popular team in Chicago than the 5th so pretending they don't exist is no longer an option.

When the shows favorite league is talked about Dan can not only say "they run a lot of stuff" but he can get so lathered up that he makes a high school coach from Indiana Google new things to say to the kids.
