To say it will be busy on the "Boers & Bernstein Show" this afternoon would be an understatement. Not only will Terry & Dan B. offer their own post-mortem on the end of a disappointing Blackhawks' season with the Game 6 bellyflop to Mike Smith and the Coyotes last night at United Center, and discuss the latest goings on with our Chicago baseball teams & the Bulls getting ready for the final 2 of their regular season tomorrow in Indiana & Thursday vs. Cleveland, but the guys will also be guest-heavy this afternoon. Check out this rundown:

*2p: Basketball Hall of Famer & Grateful Dead enthusiast Bill Walton (In Studio)
*3p: White Sox/Comcast SportsNet Analyst Frank Thomas
*3:30p: "The Second Half"
*4p: "NFL Draft: Who's Your Guy? (Part 2)"
*4:30p: Sports Illustrated NFL Writer/NBC Sports' Peter King
*5p: The SCORE/Pro Football Weekly/Dial Global Radio's Hub Arkush

It will be quite a day after "B & B's" daily transition with Mac & Spiegs come 1:15p-ish or so.

It must be serious if SHARK is creating the daily B&B thread at 9:38.

As the late, great Leslie Nielsen said in "Airplane!"...

No, Bernsy mentioned this at the end of yesterday's show as he, Terry & Laurence "Mr. Multimedia" Holmes were discussing during transition for the nighttime SCORE...

Doesn't Walton hate the Bulls?

If so he will fit right in with B&B as well as The NBA Expert and Insider, Jason "The 2007-08 Celtics are old and the window has slammed shut on them" Goff.

The Blackhawks lost so we should be in for some great hockey/racist/meatball baiting and dumb calls.

The White Sox won so they need to shit all over that with fake apprehension. I have a feeling we may get a few calls or a giant straw man directed at ALL SOX FANS thinking this team could go to the playoffs or at least win more than 85 games. Either way, lots of forced baseball talk.

And of course no show would be complete without "The Bulls are in trouble and might not make it out of the first round" talk.

And yes, I am going to listen today, so fuck off in a hard and brutal fashion.

I don't know, Hatchetman. I remember Bill Walton was a weekly fixture when Dan Patrick started at ESPN Radio many years ago and wouldn't stop talking after D.P. said "Good morning". The Basketball Hall of Famer, at last check, was part of Dial Global Radio Network's Final Four coverage. Not sure what he's doing either, but we'll soon find out.

Tease him, little Stevie!

One of my favorite Waltonisms (in reference to Nash)

I wonder if Bill will wax poetic once "B & B" introduce him, and the guys can't get a word in edgewise once Walton starts to ramble on & on.

By the way, I forgot one other guest. Come 2:30p, the newest Bears' linebacker Geno Hayes also joins the guys. Needless to say, it feels and sounds Coppock-esque this afternoon...

I hope they play some of the last interview with Walton. they asked him one question and he was off and running. It was awesome.

It wouldn't be a Bill Walton interview if he didn't go off on a tangent after being introduced.

The guys who put this Coppock-esque production together...
Producers: Matt "10p Tomorrow" Abbatacola & Brett "ManSlab" Lyons
"Scoreboard Updates": Matt "I'm On Billboards Everywhere & You're Not" Rodewald

Laurence "Mr. Multimedia" Holmes follows the guys, and the first 2 hours of his nighttime SCORE in advance of White Sox/A's pregame with Chris Rongey on the White Sox Radio Network at 8:30p this eve will be a little different than the silliness that LoHo's show usually sounds like. The SCORE's own Zach Zaidman, also from the WBBM/Bears' Radio Network, Mike Mulligan from "Mully & Hanley", as well as "B & B" contributor Matt Bowen, the Trib's Dan Pompei & Brad Biggs will all join Holmes in the SCORE Studios for a live Bears/NFL Draft Roundtable from 6-8p this eve before Holmes hosts the final half hour solo. "SCORE Overnight" with Les Grobstein & Adam Harris follows Ranger's Sox Radio Network postgame as always.

I'm pretty sure they're actually having Luke Walton in studio.

He did lead off. They've got the genuine article, Bill Walton, and maybe he'll drop off some Grateful Dead stuff to sister station 93XRT during his in-studio visit right after this.

So what I'm taking away from the interview is that lax gun laws would've meant no more Bill Walton.

Thanks liberals.

(not really ... I don't get the Bill Walton disdain ... I think he's a great guy actually)

I miss hearing Bill Walton talking up bad centers on my television.

The suicide thing wasn't creepy or uncomfortable at all. If anything, sports talk radio should have more suicide talk...
