If you've been listening to this sports talk radio program, you know that Terry & Dan B. have tried to downplay all the Bulls' REGULAR season success vs. a big glob of bad in this crammed NBA season. In the wake of last night's 109-92 Game 2 debacle to the 76ers that tied the series at 1 game apiece, the guys will try their best to tell anyone who'll listen that despite the Game 2 beatdown at United Center, Bernsy in particular will tell you why the Bulls will still find a way to win this series. At the same time, he'll also tell you why the Heat are still superior at basketball and why they'd still beat the Bulls if they rematch in the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. Needless to say, Friday's Game 3 in Philadelphia is suddenly a big game in the first round.

There's more NBA Playoff talk worth mentioning. Paul Pierce had 36 as the Celtics found a way to beat the Hawks in Atlanta to steal home court advantage, without the suspended Rajon Rondo & the injured Ray Allen (ankle) in Game 2, an 87-80 Boston win to tie that series at 1 as well. The Hawks may have also lost Josh Smith to a knee injury late in Game 2 as well. If that's not enough, Kobe Bryant scored 38 in the Lakers' 104-100 win over the Nuggets in L.A.'s 2-0 series lead out West.

As for the local baseball, there was a Gordon Beckham sighting, as well as a lot of empty seats as the White Sox beat the Indians 7-2 last night following a 56 minute rain delay. Beckham had 3 hits, including his 1st homer in the win. Seems hard to believe, but Beckham has what the Angels' Albert Pujols STILL doesn't. Honest! The same 2 teams meet at The Cell with the less than perfect Philip Humber facing Josh Tomlin in the second of three tonight on The SCORE & the Chicago White Sox Radio Network. The Cubs & Reds weren't as lucky in Cincinnati, but could Bryan LaHair & Anthony Rizzo be in the same Cub lineup pretty soon? We'll find that out soon enough.

There was also discussion late in the show about the ESPN blogger who is no longer employed by the "Booyahs", as Bernsy refers to that network. Also, might the guys also discuss the Saints' players, past and present, suspended today for their roles in the "BountyGate" scandal? All that is on tap.

Having just recently watched it, I gotta say it looked to me like Fletcher Christian was mostly responsible SHARK, I mean if the guy would've just had a little bit thicker fucking skin and did what the fuck he was told, it never would've happened. Though that cocksucker Ned Young was right in Chriatians ear egging him on all the time too.

Well, Jonathan Vilma's already done for the season, suspended for the ENTIRE 2012 season. There seem to be new developments in this ongoing story.

Bernstein's latest column on DRose prior to Game 2 was a bad idea. He explains here:

Caught Larry running his Poor Man's Bernstein bit last night.

Larry: How do you feel about the Bulls--Kyle Korver, Scottie Pippen, those guys--talking about how great Derrick Rose is, and what a loss this is, trying to rally the troops?
Schuster: Well, I mean...what else are they going to say?
Larry: Yeah, but doesn't it all seem completely over the top?
Schuster: ...I guess?

WORDS MATTER. SAYING THINGS GETS YOU FURTHER FROM A CHAMPIONSHIP. MAKING DERRICK ROSE DO STUFF IS EVIL. DERP DERP DERPITY DERP.

The general editorial stance of the station is getting really irksome.

And Dan's first question is if he signed his brain over to Boston University.

Oy.

i'm with berns on this one. nothing's going to kill your basketball jones worse than seeing your star completely emasculated and exhibited before your enemy.

I don't think it was necessary for Rose's attendance in Game 2 now that he's out. Derrick Rose won't travel with the Bulls when they head to Philadelphia for Games 3 & 4. I get it he's done for the season with a torn ACL. Let it go!

It was a caveat when the Patriots signed him that he would.

OKC, Bernsy didn't like the Bulls using, for lack of a better word, their fallen star as a mascot of sorts prior to the Game 2 debacle.

Wow. That is one of the dumbest things I've read in a while and that is really saying something after the last couple of days on CFSMB.

If it doesn't matter....who the fuck cares?

Knicks should never have played Walt Frazier when he could barely walk too.

You know, really, fans shouldn't cheer, you shouldn't have announcers, no mascots, the games shouldn't even be on TV, no clapping...nothing.

It doesn't matter.

Boers already sounding like a babbling senile fool. I don't think he watched the game last night, either.

BernSTINE already jumping the shark with the Rose handing the ball over to the official "thing".

Gonna be a long show, fellas!

Hopefully JoeWard from Evanston calls in or the studio blows up.

Here's the Wednesday game plan with Terry & Dan B.:

*3:30p: "The Second Half"
*5p: "NFL on FOX"/NFL Network's (No Longer Bearded) Brian Billick

Producers: Jason Goff & Matt Abbatacola
"Scoreboard Updates": Matt "Poster Boy" Rodewald

With Laurence "Mr. Multimedia" Holmes en route to Las Vegas for the Floyd Mayweather/Miguel Cotto Middleweight title fight and back-to-back late night shows tomorrow & Friday after baseball, Chris Rongey follows the guys at 6p. Ranger will be live, of course, from U.S. Cellular Field for a 35-minute White Sox-heavy "Xfinity Feedback Live" bridge show in advance of Ranger's OFFICIAL pregame for Game 2 of Indians/White Sox at 6:35p on The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network. Les Grobstein & Adam Harris have the extended play version of "SCORE Overnight" after the Sox postgame this eve back at the SCORE Studios, depending on how long the ballgame lasts this eve.

Not really. But SHARK often posts vague, unsubstantiated opinions under the guise of fact without being challenged on any of it. I've taken it upon myself to see that he's challenged more often.

It's not personal.
