The boys discuss how useless the previous Bulls season was and how next season will be just as useless. The only thing that matters is that Luol Deng is playing in the Olympics and the 18 month recovery Rose will need for his injury.

On a personal note, I hate Mondays. I can't wait until today is over.

What a weekend of sports! Except, the games weren't that great.

No way SHARK was going to go 2 straight days without starting a thread.

Most definitely.

The key is getting either OKC or Curious Hair to post here before SHARK's thread. If I can do that, I think the award is mine today.

BTW, I doubt there will be Bulls discussion but there was some good playoff bachetball over the weekend. The Clippers are officially my new adopted team.

I can not adopt a team coached by Vincent del Nergro.

I thought it was mostly boring. The problem with these second round matchups is that in 2/4 of them you pretty much know exactly what is going to happen and I highly doubt the Clippers beat the Spurs.

Lakers/OKC should be good though.

Evan Turner 16 points, 10 rebounds for the Sixers. Is there any SG on the Bulls he wouldn't start over? Still "bad" though according to B&B.

Thanks.

Well written article, but something strikes me as odd with him comparing himself to a professional athlete.

I agree Rick.

Just seems like he wanted to tell his story.

Again.

The work has never stopped since that right-leg broad-jump in an office hallway. Seven days a week of cardio, weights three days a week, push-ups every  Saturday. Almost every exercise is built out from those days at Athletico, with more weight or reps added or new machines used. 163 and steady.

If he didn't work out like a suburban housewife he wouldn't need to do cardio seven days a week to stay the same weight.

I'm also not sure how that wink got in there, but I'm not editing it because I think it works IFYOUKNOWWHATIMEAN.

Three on three at a now-defunct health club in Lincoln Park, the same curl around the same pin-down screen as always, the same crappy left-handed jumper, the same around-and-out as usual, and then the landing that everyone knew was bad, because the pop-crunch was audible.

One of the guys there recalled that I said “ACL. Ice. Hospital.” I believe him.

I liked the part where he delivered his wife's baby.

So Terry and Dan have heard people saying Lebron winning a title without Rose isnt legitimate? Must be the same people who somewhere, at some point, said that the Bulls are better without Rose. Another strawman!
