I've yet to see a genuine conversation on Twitter. Admittedly 140 characters makes real exchanges difficult, but Twitter is largely just people trying to one-up each other with their own cleverness.

I'll tip my cap to the members of this forum. We often have genuine and sincere conversations. I'm uncertain that bernstein even knows what a sincere conversation is. On his radio program he's almost always trying to tell you what he knows rather than attempting to listen to what someone else has to say. My guess is his Twitter feed is simply a truncated version of that with Maddux Boy and Ten Foot Midget re-tweeting him whilst adding their own versions of "Yeah Boyeeeeeeeeee!"

You're right Rodney. Berns does often miss the point of calls because he is really not listening to what the caller is saying. He is much more concerned with what he has to say in response to the subject line put on the screen by whomever is screening the calls. Even though it's readily apparent the angle the caller is taking, Mr. Intellectual seems miss it. People like that have always annoyed me. They're too worried about what they have to say rather than what you are saying.

I've written before and I still believe it to be true: on air talent at the station was told to refrain from an internet presence outside the official website, facebook pages and twitter. It had to be more than a coincidence that 5 or more Score people used to post here regularly and openly but then, at almost idetical times, decided to restrict themselves.

I'd have to check, but I can't remember him really ever interacting with people other than the stupid crossword puzzles. It's probably just a bit to bring up stupid meatball ideas and pretend a lot of people believe it. Then people call in supporting the idea, he makes fun of them, calls them an idiot, and the show goes on.
