I am assured that the kids going to these camps are terminal. I don't want my money to send kids to camp if they are going to survive into adulthood, because after hearing Bernstein's camp stories (second only in suicide inducing boredom to stories about his family), I'm scared that if these kids are sent to camp they will grow up into self-absorbed asswipes who think they're 10 times smarter than they really are.

I actually attended the same camp Bernstein raves about, for one year, I was juts too young to appreciate it. I then attended another camp for 4 more years in the Northwoods of Wisconson.

It was awesome, however, I can't remember the last time I have referenced it as a point of information in any discussion, such as "At camp we learned how to make a belt....I like frogs"

poor taste? i dunno ...have to admit it is ironic that a guy who loves to tell people to "make more money" or "get a better job" when some poor bastard is crying about how expensive it is to take his wife and 2 kids to a game. you would think a consistent stance would be tell the parents of these kids to "make more money" or "get a better job with insurance" of course i am being dramatic but he is a condescending prick.
