Danny on twitter: Quote: Anybody else allowing themselves to think this #Pacers team could have beaten the full-strength #Bulls, perhaps? Maybe. But what a great way to deflect your "full-strength Bulls would get crushed by the Heat" stance instead of admitting the Heat aren't as good as you think they are. Not that they can't still win it all, but maybe they aren't the powerhouse that you claim they are. Yes, Bosh is hurt but that shouldn't matter since King James took Cleveland to the finals with a bunch of nobodys, right? But, above all else, don't admit you may have been wrong about how good they are... Oh, the BP cup too. |

lol No, I'm not. And the reason I'm not is because I actually know something about the NBA. Apparently Danny doesn't. Is Kid or somebody else going to defend this ridiculous tweet by Danny? |

pfft, I'm sure Berns and Goff know little of any Pacer outside of labeling them 'guys' or 'bums'. On Wednesday's show they had the writer from Miami and Bernstein asked a question 'well we all thought we knew who was going to win the title, but maybe this Spurs team now has a shot?', oh, you mean the team that's lost only 3 of their last 30 games? really? I forgot who said it here before, but I think it fits: Berns knows basketball (it's called: 'stuff'), but not the NBA. |

The only reason the Spurs aren't the heavy favorite is because they are the Spurs. They have been just crushing the league the last two months. Ill be surprised if OKC beats them. |

Also, the Bulls weren't at full-strength all season and weren't going to be. But they likely would've still beaten the Pacers at their pre-Rose-ACLinjury state. They would be deserved underdogs against Miami if the latter was at full strength, but the Heat were not nearly as clear-cut favs as Berns made them out to be. And he did kept on this track because he was too lazy to change his pre-season evaluation of the Heat. LeBron is absolutely brilliant but Wade is aililng/worse, Bosh was trending the same (and now out), and they really whiffed on filling out spots 4-9. Also: 'floppy stuff' |

Also: 'floppy stuff' The irritating part was how he steadfastly claimed that this year's Heat were better than last year's version. Pre-season, maybe that made sense. But by about March, there was little evidence to that effect. Yet, he kept on citing that as the reason there's no way the Bulls could get by them. It was just stupid. |

"The Heat are simply disinterested". Uh oh its the playoffs might not be able to use that one. It was always stupid to portray Lebron as the unstoppable force because he had been stopped at some point during every playoff series that he'd been involved with. That has occurred in series in which his team was the favorite. He has not always been the underdog. Going into the series with Dallas they were the favorite though if u call their show as I once did regarding this very topic Bernstein spinned it as Dirk playing out of his mind. The year the Cavaliers made it to the finals was a down year for the East and I believe that it gave most people the false illusion that if James got better players around him he would run through the league. It has not happened in two years. His game is not as dominant as Bernstein and Goff like to portray it. Athletic ability yes Basketball ability no and they have been unable to distinguish between the two and I believe that hurts their argument. |

Don't forget, this is a Pacers team with a center who "will be a bum, or at best just a guy" in the NBA. He averages a double-double....I remember Danny berating a caller and calling him basketball retarded for suggesting that Hibbert might be able to average that in the NBA. Now I know why Dan won't prognosticate about other sports - it is because he is sooo bad at it in the NBA. But yet, he continues to berate callers with a different point of view. |

Why do you guys care so much about Dan Bernstein's opinion? I can safely say I don't give a shit one way or another what he thinks about really anything. |

This board espouses opinions on all types of subject matter and posters actively discuss it....why don't you go and post in those threads about why no one should care about anyone's thoughts on anything? Why are you all up in our grill about BernSTINE? The best way to show that you don't care about something is not to take the time to post about why you don't care. Now step aside, there is yeoman's work to be done. |

It's a message board about that, at this point, is mostly dedicated to SPORTS and RADIO PERSONALITIES. More specifically, dissecting those radio show hosts, their opinions, their shows, the good the bad etc. Discussions that you have actively participated in, mind you. I mean, it's like you logged onto the board today and totally forgot that this has been going on for a very long time on here, like you're totally shocked that people discuss and bitch about what BernSTINE says on the magical radio box. I mean, c'mon man, who you crappin'? |

I wouldn't say I "care so much". The only time I talk about Bernstein is when he talks about the NBA. If anyone else in radio was advertised as the best NBA talker in the city and regulary demonstrated lack of knowledge or espoused dumb opinions on the league I would probably comment equally in their threads. |
