Although there are actual sports worth discussing on this show, if yesterday was any indication, "The Boers & Bernstein Show" might want to call their show "All Sandusky, All The Time" considering all the talk about Day 1 of Jerry Sandusky's Sex Abuse Trial in Pennsylvania, complete with some pretty damning testimony already. This along with an NBC News report that ex-Penn State University President Graham Spanier could be looking at additional criminal charges for his role in the scandal. Should they talk about other things, here's what else the guys might discuss.

They could cringe at the sight of Adam Dunn playing LF in the NL parks this week as the White Sox head to St. Louis & Los Angeles to play the Cardinals & Dodgers respectively. They might also discuss a big start tonight here on The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network for lefty Jose Quintana in the first of 3 with MLB's current World Champions. Quintana's status in the rotation, let alone the bullpen, is a question mark with lefty John Danks thisclose to returning to the 25-man roster.

As for the Cubs, despite the big news regarding signing Cuban OF Jorge Soler yesterday at the start of the show, the bleeding likely continues for the Chicago National League Ballclub as the Tigers start a three-game series tonight. That's followed by the underachieving Red Sox over the weekend, complete with "MLB on FOX's Baseball Night in America" & ESPN's "Sunday Night Baseball" bringing their #1 crews to the corner of Clark & Addison. I wonder if those guys will bring up a certain Cubs' SS in Starlin Castro and questions about his future position yet again, let alone what Boston manager Bobby Valentine said about Castro when he was here for a "SNB" broadcast last year with what Bernsy calls "the Booyah Network."

There's also the NBA Finals starting up tonight, and rumblings of possibly big ratings for the Heat/Thunder matchup on ABC, even though Miami & Oklahoma City aren't exactly big markets going in. This despite plenty of starpower with LeBron James, Dwyane Wade & Chris Bosh of course for Miami, along with Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, James Harden & quite a homecourt advantage at what's now called Chesepeake Energy Arena where the Finals tip this eve. It should be a doozy of a matchup.

Last but not least, the Los Angeles Kings are Stanley Cup Champions for the first time since they became an NHL franchise in 1967 following their 6-1 Game 6 win over the New Jersey Devils last night at STAPLES Center. Was it the last NHL game played for quite sometime with the dreaded "l" word looming on the horizon as in a possible lockout among players & owners? All that and more gory details on that creepy Jerry Sandusky guy today.

I bet it's going to super exciting, more talk about how they can't talk about details, more juror talk and Danny B. reading jury bio's verbatim, plenty of talk about how the respective lawyers/attorneys should run the case because BernSTINE would know b/c he went to Duke, and more chest pounding about how they are so glad that Joe Paterno is dead, how bad he was and how they want Sandusky to be tortured. Really going out on a limb with those proclamations.

Attacking a dead Paterno, cutting edge stuff...they ain't afraid of no public backlash! No, sir! Paterno is revered like a god, a true sacred cow a diety, a father figure to all the people in, uh, ummmm, Illinois.

Also, tons of Lebron cock slurping and hedging of bets.

Some Cubs talk as well. They are supposed to lose 1 million games for a bunch of years, that's how Saint Theo does it, that's how he did it in Boston, meatballs! Bad for 3-5 years and then, *snap*, they will be good and competitive. Yep, Theo Playbook.

There are things in this Jerry Sandusky Trial that might be too gory for broadcast. I suggest listener discretion, especially if what was mentioned not only with Terry & Dan, but in the courthouse itself meant anything.

SHARK you forgot to mention a 5 minute read by Dan about One Step's open spots in the Chicago Marathon.

Running for charity = awesome

Walking for charity to Wrigley Field = Danny openly wishes those people dead.

I found the coverage yesterday to be pretty damn interesting. Had a 4-hour drive back to Chicago after vising the family, so I heard most of the show. If you don't think the e-mails between the University president and other officials were riveting stuff, well then I'd stop listening to B&B until the trial is over.

Interesting, sure, I guess. Comment on it and then move on. No need to beat it to absolute death for a segment.....and then dig it up several more times through-out the show to repeat the first segment.

It's a big trial, no doubt, but doing what they're doing is fucking lame. Plenty of other stuff to talk about.

I can see that. Then again, I'm only a fan of the Bulls and Blackhawks as far as Chicago teams go. My football (duh) and baseball allegiance lie elsewhere, so I tune out when the Bears/Sox/Cubs are discussed. I just love a good juicy trial. Followed the Casey Anthony stuff constantly.

We can only hope and pray for this to be the case.

Two words...Don Fehr. He's no stranger to labor issues in sports. The former bossman of the MLB Players Association is now the Executive Director of the NHL Players Association, and needless to say, this story bears watching.

Breaking News...The SCORE's Jenny Jones-looking Kerry Sayers reports that the Cubs have fired hitting coach Rudy Jaramillo.

A Reginald Denny mention!

In joke form no less!

Nothing more funny than a man being pulled from a truck and nearly beaten to death with a brick because of the color of his skin. Well, maybe joking about a child rape....it's close though.

Sports talk radio is filled with self-righteous hypocrites.....B&B at the top of the list.

Thus me asking him yesterday to change his name to BEAVER (as in eager beaver). I think he replied by cracky.

Shark, don't play dumb. You give the B&B show line-up everyday.....just one brief example of your over the top coverage/obsession with the show. There is nothing wrong with it except maybe in a Sandusky man love kind of way.

I've only been doing it recently. I'm also giving you the heads up on that creep from Penn State and the likely overload of trial coverage that turns WSCR 670 The SCORE into TruTV's "In Session"...at least until Laurence "Mr. Multimedia" Holmes signs on at 6p.

I love your enthusiasm. You take a lot of heat on these boards, and you keep coming back for more (kind of like a Sandusky victim, to keep with my prior analogy).

Here's the Tuesday game plan:

*3:30p: "The Second Half"
*4p-ish(?): SCORE Bears' Reporter RED ALERT! RED ALERT! from Halas Hall-Lake Forest

A quick turnaround for Connor McKnight. No sooner did he host the late night SCORE from 10p-Midnight last night, Connor has updates NOW through 6:30p tonight. Laurence Holmes has just 35 minutes to work with for "Xfinity Feedback Zone Live" in advance of White Sox/Cardinals Interleague Baseball. Chris Rongey actually made the trip to the new Busch Stadium (By Cracky!), and will have the "Horseshoe Casino Pregame" from St. Louis at 6:40p on The SCORE/White Sox Radio Network. First pitch at 7:15p. Les Grobstein & Adam Harris have "SCORE Overnight", the EP version, following Ranger's postgame around 11:30p-ish or so.

I just emailed Mitch Rosen. No it won't do any good but I can't take another day of this crap. Many of us out of town people transplanted from Chicago wish to here Chicago sports talk.

As a Cardinals fan, I wouldn't mind a little Sox/Cardinals chatter.

It didn't take very long to restart the Jerry Sandusky Trial Talk on this show. Bernsy, you're not Roe Conn. As SCORE original Doug Buffone would say, "STOP YOURSELF!"

PTFB, they are just repeating the same exact stuff from yesterday.

I'll give it another shot in a bit.
