Last week there was a day when there was a day when both the Cubs and Sox scored 0 runs, SFD sends in a stat of 9000 times the Cubs and Sox have both played games and 45 times they both didnt score. How does he know this shit? Does he have some program loaded up and ready to go? I then chose to call Matty! and asked if they know what this guy does? or what his deal is....and Matty admitted that he might be wrong sometimes, but nobody checked..... Not sure if Matty did it or not, but he was gonna send him an email asking how he does this? Reviewing 9000 games, seems to be quite a task? |

I don't think I was in the right demographic. I like it in syndication. |

Awesome quote. Rev Jim paved the way for Kramer. One of the best characters ever. |

sabu, Thanks for the link to the Lahman database. I've been looking for something like that forever and thought that only Elias had access to stuff like that. What I don't see in the database are the actual games. Are they in there or are those not available? I'd love to be able to query stuff like: - biggest lead overcome - most pitches thrown in a game - number of times a team scored in every inning, etc. - or items such as the one described in bigfan's original post |

WSCR is now sourcing all stats and blogs from a Quad City location. They wanted to go with a company in India but they refused to work with Bernstein because they're sick of the Penn State talk. |

Scorehead wrote: Both Taxi & MASH sucked. Taxi has held up well. Mash, on the other hand, has not. The last five years it became the Alan Alda show. The first four season were good, for the most part. |
