So where did the "I cant talk about some things in practice" statement from Larry go yesterday? I heard Bernsie call Larry on this one and had to go?

Anything he sees in practice is open for discussion. This is implicit in the Bears closing some practices to the media.

Laurence was referring to a Bears' edict of "No Tweeting" during practice when he briefly crosstalked with the guys from Halas Hall in Lake Forest yesterday. I don't think Bernsy was too pleased.

Just the Bears being dumb again. The media is allowed to cover the practice insofar as saying "I was at Bears practice," but they're not allowed to divulge any Football Information. Other teams might gain intelligence!

So no tweeting during practice?

What is their policy of diddling during practice?

I don't know about diddling, but the Bears aren't allowing Tweeting during practice. I wonder if that continues when they report to Bourbonnais at the end of July.

I take it they don't allow any social media commenting of any sort? Not just flippin' the birdie...so to speak?

Apparently, that is their policy. Not sure other teams have similar social media policies.

If you have ever been to a Bears Bourbon practice it is a ton of nothing. Usually fans dont get in until the afternoon practices, hot sun and they just dont do much.

They eventually appease some fans with some deep WR drills and everyone goes "woooo"

It is not terrible to go once and see everything for yourself and realize what complete shills JD and ZZ are for the Bears!

Things I have seen that neither of them talked about:

The year Tommie Harris was ready to come back he could hardly walk! He had no chance at playing! They never once talked about a very noticeable limp, when he just walked around.

Brett Bazenais(sp?)...as bad as bad can be for an NFL QB.... Total joke he was in an NFL camp. He could throw the ball!

Mark Bradley! Total A hole! (Which they all came clean with after he was cut!)

Jay - Been taking total control of this team for 2 years now. Yes, he yells at others, but says things like "Get to the fucking spot!"...not MArk Bradley stuff of "Fuck you man, I know what I am doing"

Etc

The single best bit of Bourbonnais/summer reporting was when Zaidman intimated that Zach Bowman led the team in "hypothetical interceptions" or some such shit. This is the stuff I think back to when I hear that the Chicago media needs to go after the Blackhawks the way they go after the Bears. I want--no, need--to know how Dave Bolland is doing in the theoretical breakaway department.

Shark this is not what was said. If that is what he meant, he is even more of a total loser than I already thought in his lame ass attempt of trying to make it sound like he is trusted by the Bears.

From what I recall basically they can't tweet during practice and they're not allowed to report what was heard on the field. That's what Laurence said, anyway. Berns was offended that The Fourth Estate had their rights violated in some way.

Yep, I went there early in 2009 and there were basically zero cars in the lot so I knew I kinda fucked up. There was a line of just a few people, but I was not about to just stand in line for like 5 hours. I thought that Mac & Spiegs were going to be doing their show and having some players come by. Little did I know that they would be broadcasting in a trailer. Mac was WAY cool enough to let me and my friend in the trailer to hang out during the broadcast. Mac nicknamed my friend Mickey McGriddles since he was munching on some of the McDonald's that was leftover......that was really the best part of the day. Got bored frankly after awhile of watching drills and whatnot.

During Tranny, Larry touched on the fact that some people thought he was holding back Bears info from when he attended practice.

Well Larry, if someone thought that it's because YOU SAID IT DURING TRANSITION THE PREVIOUS DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Larry Homes, WHO YOU CRAPPIN?

Transition done and <click>
