Lebron Raymone James was crowned the greatest basketball player in history this evening as the Miami Heat beat the Oklahoma City Thunder in an NBA Finals that was viewed by an historic number of people. There is no other story. |

There is no other story. A Thunder team that played like total, unfocused shit after the first game. I'm sure NBA EXPERT AND INSIDER JASON GOFF will parrot BernSTINE in pushing the story that the Thunder were playing like men possessed, shooting the lights out, playing smart basketball etc but the HEAT JUST ROSE ABOVE IT and defeated the mad skills b-ball team from OKC! LeBron raised up the Heat on his shoulders! Overcame mass adversity and defeated the evil Thunder...a Thunder team that was playing out of its mind! It will be a great fake, made up and fabricated narrative....but whatever. |

The sickening thing is that Goff and Bernsetin consider this a win for them and a serious blow to racism. Not the case, guys, both of you still exist. Oy. How many times are we gonna get the following? Goff: I told you crackers that...blah, blah, blah. or Goff: Crackers always said (stupid thing) and I always said (smart thing). Get ready racist Chicago. You're gonna get it tomorrow. |

SomeGuy, Hindsight tells me that perhaps the Thunder played like shit after Game 1 because maybe just maybe, Miami made some defensive adjustments. I wanted OKC to win too, but let's not discredit Miami here. |

Thunder could have won two more games. They played well for all games except this one. They were focused. Miami deserves this title. Lebron played great. He is great. Nobody has ever thought otherwise despite what Goff and Bernstein have told you. They fight a battle that never existed. People hate Lebron, but nobody has ever thought he wasn't a great player. |

Tomorrow's show is simply going to be the smuggest show of all time. Sandusky verdict AND LeBron title. It's the perfect fucking storm. |

Wow... Yeah I've only heard like 30 minutes of the show each day. Never heard them say that though. Well I hope noone asks me again why I don't have any respect for their NBA knowledge. Jordan is obviously the best player of all time. The most talented too. However you wanna try to describe t. |

They haven't said it. They've said several times that he's "already among the greats." This is what I'm talking about with guys fabricating and making shit up. |

Obviously you know that if they'd said Lebron was the greatest of all time, someone would've quoted it here and pounced on it in an actual daily thread within minutes of its utterance. Again, it was never said. |

It's the same as when somebody posted that Hub Arkush said, "Muhammad Ali is the greatest athlete in history." When what he really said was, "Muhammad Ali is the most historically significant athlete of my lifetime." Big difference. |

Just to clarify my anti-LeBron stance isn't because I'm a bulls fan who considers it blasphemy that somebody even considers putting another basketball player over Jordan, I hate LeBron because of how the Big Three bypassed free agency to form a semi-olympic team down in Miami for fans who have by no means been suffering for lack of titles. |

That makes sense Kid. I heard when they said "one of" the greats. It was when they were reading BR page verbatim. You just can't make a case he's the goat yet. That's all. |

Agree with Kid Cairo. The Lebron hate is somewhat comparable to the Bernstein/Goff hate. People tend to make shit up just so they can keep up with it, no matter how ridiculous. SomeGuy....your fantasy storyline for tomorrow is just that, a fantasy. Dan and Terry have always acknowledged that the Thunder are a great team. They have maintained that it's fair to root against the Heat and Lebron but you must respect the talent. |

Respecting talent is one thing - to hold your basketball fandom hostage unless you want LeBron to win is another, and that's precisely what Dan advocates. |
