He's protecting brains now! Precious brains! Brains!

On todays show:
Something. You are going to listen or not listen no matter what I say here so just do it or don't do it.

Take him off the list of people you hate B&B!!! The terrible shame of having the same opinion as your football expert Matt Bowen can now be overlooked!!!

BRAINS!

Also, an NBA draft pick got a standing ovation and people chanted "USA! USA! USA!" for his military service prior to college. This made Dan Bernstein sick because white people chanting anything is scary.

The guys are broadcasting from Mullen's Bar & Grill in Lisle this afternoon from 1-5:30p for the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour", nipped again today due to White Sox/Yankees.

Discussion on the thrilling White Sox winner, "Tank" you very much in the 9th inning with The SCORE's own Steve Stone at 2p, plus what the Cubs' call up of 1B Anthony Rizzo REALLY means.

Bulls/NBA Draft talk...Kentucky's Marquis Teague and why was he the pick over Kansas' PG Tyshawn Taylor at #29 last night?

"Forgettable Sports Memories" complete w/SCORE Production Director Russ Mitera's cheesy open come 4p.

All that and Cub tickets to give away...

Any time I see Breesus, I think of the infamous Uncle Buck scene.

Dan Bernstein, today, probably wrote:
And can we get an order of nerve gas for the yahoos who booed [Ed. note - smarmy, self-aggrandizing, race-baiting piece of shit] David Stern last night? I mean, come on. Anyone who would boo David Stern knows nothing about basketball. If you don't love what he's done for the league, you just. Don't. Get it.

I'm sure we'll all get a good ol' fashioned tag-team chastisin' [crosspost]:

No one could possibly have legitimate gripes about the pick! Stop railing just to rail! You're probably racist hockey fans! Don't be "Facebook"! Don't be Cleveland! I'm good!

Jason's fighting imaginary elves again. The Bulls picked 29th! That was it! You pick 29th, you're just hoping the guy plays a game!

Actually, that idiotic rant by Westwood One/Dial Global Radio Network's Jim Gray after the Saints won their first Super Bowl 3 seasons ago over the Colts comes to mind first. "Brees-us"..."Drew Orleans"... Puh-leeze!

Guys, the ONLY reason why I wanted the Bulls to trade Luol Deng is because of the team's salary cap hell they're now in. Unfortunately, there are other teams that aren't even close to competing for an NBA Championship that are in similar salary cap hell as the Bulls. Besides, teams around the league think Deng & Joakim Noah, still not recovered from his ankle injury, are damaged goods right now.

Let's make this easy.

Bernstein draft grades:
Heat: A+, they have Lebron.
Thunder: C-, they have Kevin Durant.
Bulls: F, they didn't trade Deng, which would make them more likely to beat Lebron?
Every other team: F, they didn't make any moves that made them better able to beat Lebron.

Here's the Friday Game Plan from Mullen's in Lisle:

*NEXT: Former Bears/Current Panthers TE Greg Olsen
*2P: SCORE Chicago Baseball Insider/White Sox TV Analyst Steve Stone-Live from New York
*2:40P: Kentucky Radio Network PBP Voice Tom Leach-A Scouting Report on New Bulls' Draft Pick Marquis Teague
*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*4P: "Friday Fung: Forgettable Sports Memories"

"Scoreboard Updates": Zach Zaidman

The guys are done at 5:30P to accommodate Chris Rongey's "Horseshoe Casino/White Sox Radio Network Pregame" from the SCORE Studios downtown at 2 Prudential Plaza. First pitch for White Sox/Yankees in the Bronx happens at 6:05P. After Ranger's "Xfinity Feedback Zone Postgame", there won't be any local sports talk on The SCORE. Yahoo! Sports Radio programming runs from the end of Ranger's postgame to 6a Saturday morning.

I don't think any teams in the league view Noah or Deng as damaged goods.

What an awful way to enjoy sports with the mentality that nothing but the championship matters. 30 or so other cities must be so miserable not being Miami for this year.

There's a phrase for it, Pitt. It's calling thinking BIG. It's not just limited to the NBA, but the NFL, Major League Baseball & NHL as well. I think Bernsy wants our teams not to settle for anything but the BIGGEST prize, regardless of league and team.

I heard the first 5 minutes and they were ridiculing the Pacers for not picking a guy with the 20-something pick that could stop LeBron. Lot of defensive LeBron-stoppers at 26. Yes, I get it. Jokes. Old & tired - much like me. Click.

That was mostly because the player was white.
