Saw on Twitter that LoHo had tapas last night. Expect some of that being discussed.

Are there any stories that "must be told" but will be hard to listen to?

So people tweet stuff that mundane? I am so glad I never got into Facebook or Twitter.

I don't follow LoHo, but saw that he mentioned after I read a Tannehill tweet.

Yes, some people tweet mundane details like that. Newspapers also have stories about people turning 90 years old. Is that interesting? Not usually. Point being: do not generalize. Twitter is a great aid during sporting events. It's a great resource for discussions.

Facebook, I can understand not wanting to join. But if you're a sports fan, I would wager that you would like Twitter.

One of the topics sure to be discussed now that the NBA's free agent moratorium has been lifted is whether the Bulls will match the Rockets' offer for big man & Bernsy's buddy Omer Asik. In his latest column found here, Bernsy tells why the Bulls' possibly matching the Asik offer sheet doesn't make financial, let alone basketball sense:

Can I get an explanation as to why Holmes is sitting in on this show? I asked yesterday and the only answer I was given was that Tommy Williams would be hosting the Sox pre-game shows starting after the all star break. And if it really is true that Larry is on B&B today, where is Terry? And who is hosting Holmes' show tonight?

red, you may be right. But from what I have seen posted here, it seems like a lot of nonsense. I suspect it is a great way to communicate to a wide audience, but I don't need any communication with "friends" when I watch a Bears game.

It's not my money, but I hope the Bulls let Asik go down to Houston. It's not worth it.

I didn't listen all of yesterday. I don't believe that these two have talked much if at all about the whole PSU/Sandusky stuff. If this holds true, that is at least one nice thing about having Shake That on.

They will be tested today. New "letter" Paterno supposedly penned in Dec/Jan about glorious PSU. http://pennstate.scout.com/2/1201534.html

Tommy Williams is long gone from The SCORE roster for starters. Also, Terry is ON VACATION from this show this week, and because the Daily Herald's Barry Rozner is sitting in for Mike Mulligan on "Mully & Hanley", the next man up in their opinion is Laurence Holmes. The same Holmes who normally hosts a solo show weeknights 6-10p and also now pops up on NBC5's Saturday afternoon/evening newscasts & on "Sports Sunday".

Hub Arkush will be playing the role of Holmes tonight at 6p followed by the "JoeO & Connor Show" with Connor McKnight & a stuffed-up Joe Ostrowski at 10p. Are we clear now?

Not match the offer?!?!!? Way to go out on a limb and echo what every other sportstalker in chicago has stated. Edgy.

I tuned in about 1:15 to hear Dan saying "He's wrong about too many things and doesn't seem to know what's going on..." Was he talking about Terry?

For a guy who's supposed to be the 2012 Ford C. Fricke Award winner, Tim McCarver is beyond bad at broadcasting baseball and wish FOX Sports would replace his old, sorry ass once and for all. There are 3 MLB Network analysts that are better than McCarver and I Tweeted 3 of them last night.

Anyway, here's the Wednesday game plan:

*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*5P: NBA.com's Steve Aschburner-Bulls/NBA Free Agent Talk

"Scoreboard Updates": Zach Zaidman

Star players cancelled out star players in this year's NBA playoffs.

OKC beat San Antonio because OKC's non-star players outplayed SA's non-star players.

Heat beat OKC because the Heat's non-star players outplayed OKC's non-star players

His fake laugh if pretty bad, too. I just caught it during the "Instant George Brett" bit (in which he also mentioned his gig on Sports Sunday on Ch. 5)
