I wonder how much evidence Bernstein would need to report Boers as a pedophile.

I don't mean that as a cheap shot. If you had suspicions--even strong suspicions--about a good friend, I think human nature is to draw every inference in favor of the friend. I'm not saying that's morally right, and I hope I wouldn't do that. But many, many people would, and I've never been in that situation.

Same mentality thats pervasive in the " Not my baby, he's a good boy" cry common amongst gang bangers moms.

I remember he blasted North way back when North was talking about how he would always protect his friends. This was when Knuckles and Fritzy were on with him almost every day.

So hopefully Dan would remain consistent and turn Terrence over to the proper authorities as soon as there was an inkling of wrongdoing.

But that's probably not what would happen.

If Uncle Terry were a felon, what is the most likely crime? A peeping Terry perhaps?

I get your question, Irish Boy. I just don't think using the Terry-Dan relationship is a good one for the point you are trying to make. Bernstein doesn't think much of Boers. They are not close friends. They do the show together but neither of them care that much about each other. Bernstein would turn Terry's cracker ass to the police quicker than Terry could say "Eeee eeeee."

I think that's the point Neil Steinberg has made in his two articles on the subject. Sandusky is in jail. He isn't harming anyone. But there are still plenty of molesters out there. Does danny know any? Is he turning a blind eye? He's so obsessed with Penn State he probably wouldn't notice if a kid was getting raped in the next room. He'd have to tear himself away from Twitter #Penn State.

Would Dan turn in his father? No.

Better question is would he turn in Mitch if he saw him buggering Johnny doing things in The Score's unisex bathroom.

Consider this, what is the least offensive crime Bernsie could ignore without ruining all the good he has done in this world?

A person running a red light?
A guy bending over a sheep?
Dog fighting ring?
Konkero being injected in the rear end by ranger with peds?
A man exposing himself at taste of chicago?
LoHo illegally selling copies of a song with shake that in its lyrics?
Boers watching kiddie porn during the show?

Let's complete the B&B team on this scenerio.

Terry: Would turn in Goff and Bernstein in a heart beat. He would not turn in drinky. Partly because he's anti-semitic and racist on the Goff and Bernstein front. He would not turn in drink because he thinks of him as a son.

Bernstein: Would turn in Terry, Goff and drink without hesitation. Does not consider them friends. Wouldn't feel bad in the least. Even if it were proven he was wrong.

Drink: Are you kidding? Would turn in Dan with little to no evidence for the love of God. He would celebrate the arrest with his "Team Lodge" buddies and pray for the death penalty. He would aid and abet Terry and Goff.

Goff: Would aid and abet all of them: Terry, Dan and drink. Goff really thinks of them as family. He loves them. They are all Mr. Drummond to him. Now, he wouldn't hesitate to turn in DaMaNa or Spiegel. He views them as a threat to his "Team Bernstein" family.

Beardown, you should have stuck with your first answer.

Mr. Drummond?

I do think Goff thinks of "The Bernstein 4" as family way more than the rest of them. You can tell by the way he talks. I think it would break his heart if and when any or all of them were split up. Even if it meant his own show. He'd take it, of course, but he'd be sad.

On the other hand, Bernstein wouldn't feel sad if any of them left him.

I think if he had reasonable suspicion he would alert authorities. Doing the right thing is really not that difficult a decision.

I think Beardown's conclusions are pretty accurate.

Slave labor, on the other hand, is something that Dan is entirely comfortable with in his working environment.
