Right now, complete with his obscure "Bonanza" reference, Gary from Evanston is already hard at work putting pen to paper and getting ready for his favorite segment of "The Boers & Bernstein Show" come 5P today on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com. It's "WYC Thursday", and you know Gary can't wait to spew on someone who said something stupid this week. Before Gary can make his weekly contribution, here's a rundown on what Terry & Dan B. might discuss between 1:15-ish & 5:35P in advance of White Sox/Red Sox pregame one more time:

*Pedro Hernandez's Forgettable White Sox Debut in Boston; Already Sent Back to Charlotte
*Farmer: White Sox Might Need Another Starting Pitcher in Trade Market
*Cubs Ready To Deal?
*A Less than "Rad"-ical Bulls' Signing; Darko Milicic Next?

All that and perhaps another yet another update regarding that ongoing Penn State scandal this afternoon during the "B & B Show" following the daily transition with Mac & Spiegs after the 1P "Scoreboard Update".

I'll do my best. Sometimes, coming up with titles for these threads can be real hard. Then again, this is the ONLY day where Gary From Evanston actually drops dime.

There better be some discussion on the vigils held outside the Paterno statue that were intended to protect the monument from vandals.

You know, the guys are on the road tomorrow in Edison Park for the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour". They'll be at Curragh Irish Pub, 5953 N. Northwest Highway from 1-5:30P before White Sox/Tigers in Detroit. Because Mac & Spiegs are also on the road tomorrow at Once Upon a Bagel in Highland Park...

THERE WILL BE NO TRANSITION!

Bernsy hates the Bulls' signing of forward Vladimir Radmanovic. It's only 1 year, Bernsy...

SHARK is increasingly becoming a parody/caricature of the essence of SHARK. either that or if this is to be taken at face value, he's gaining confidence.

Matt "No Longer on NBC5" Rodewald has "Scoreboard Updates" this afternoon. As for the Thursday game plan...

*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*4:40P: Comcast SportsNet New England's Sean McAdam-A Red Sox Scouting Report
*5P: "Who Ya Crappin'?"

The guys are done yet again today at 5:35P for Chris Rongey's "Horseshoe Casino/White Sox Radio Network Pregame" from the SCORE Studios downtown. First pitch for White Sox/Red Sox in Boston at 6:10P. After Ranger's "Xfinity Postgame", Connor McKnight has live, local sports talk from 9:30P-ish until Midnight leading into "SCORE Overnight" with Les Grobstein & Adam Harris until 5A Friday morning.

Best of all, as has been the case all this week...It's a LAURENCE HOLMES FREE-ZONE!

SHARK,

Can you please stop referencing Matt Rodewald's future NBC employment every time you post his name? It's stupid and it's kinda dickish to constantly point out the fact that a guy is losing a job. It also isn't even the least bit amusing. I know you don't realize this, but just take my word for it.

OKC, I'm sorry I'm picking on Rodie. I'll cut it out now.

If anyone wants to pick on someone, try Big Ten (plus 2) Commissioner Jim Delany...Bernsy's got the skinny on Delany's incredible power, especially in the wake of the ongoing scandal at you know where...

Well?

I mean, how could a person have a valid opinion on the Freeh report without actually having read it?

In general they look/sound stupid if they don't know the facts of what they want to talk about.

I made that mistake once as a kid. I had heard about this funny British show with fast-motion. Then I put on channel 38. I'm not sure why I thought that would end well. Maybe I thought TV Week made a typo.

That's the one, although I thought FOX32 aired reruns of the British comedy show...
