The guys are on the road again today, as "The Boers & Bernstein Show" originates from the "Danny Mac Charity Golf Outing" at Seven Bridges Golf Club in Woodridge following the daily transition with Mac & Spiegs. The guys have a lot to talk about from the weekend. Here are a few ideas what might be discussed...

*MLB Trade Deadline Rumors
*1 More White Sox Trade?
*Dempster & Garza Stuck w/the Cubs?
*Penn State Scandal Update; New Uniforms for Penn State Football?
*Bears' Camp Update from Bourbonnais
*Tim Tebow Already Struggling in Jets' Camp

Those are just a few of the stories the guys might discuss between 1:15-ish & 6P this afternoon, not to mention Westwood One/Dial Global Radio Network Summer Olympic Updates from London as the show progresses.

Speaking of trades, Bernsy discusses the White Sox' acquisition of Francisco Liriano late Saturday night from the Twins in his latest column. He explains why it's "Worth a Shot" here:

I have a good friend who has a 4 year old son who was recently diagnosed with autism. It's tough for her, plus she's a single parent. I've always appreciated the light Mac has shown on this often misunderstood disease. His stories about Patrick are inspiring.

Danny Mac lickage for the day: check

Here's a little bit of a surprise. Because they're starting up the Golf Outing at 1P, they've decided NOT to do the usual transition segment with Terry & Dan as they usually do after the 1P "Scoreboard Update". Here's what "B & B" have planned in what turns out to be a true 5-hour sports talk show this afternoon from Seven Bridges in Woodridge:

*3P: Green Bay Press Gazette's Rob Demovsky-A Packers' Training Camp Report
*3:30P: "The Second Half"

Terry's "two favorite words in show business", Laurence Holmes, is back at the SCORE Studios downtown for "Xfinity Feedback Zone Live" for 35 minutes @ 6P. Holmes then hands things off to Chris Rongey for the "Horseshoe Casino/White Sox Radio Network Pregame" @ 6:35P. First pitch for White Sox/Twins @ 7:10P from Minneapolis. Les Grobstein & Adam Harris have "SCORE Overnight" after Ranger's "Xfinity Postgame". Grobstein & Harris will be interrupted at Midnight for Westwood One/Dial Global Radio Network's nightly "Late Night in London" with audio highlights of the day's activities from the Games of the XXX Summer Olympiad. "SCORE Overnight", complete with "Bum of the Week", resumes @ 1A Tuesday.

Well, it is a departure from wall-to-wall talk about a certain university that should be kicked out of the Big Ten...

Joseph Edward calling in defense of J Leman...and he gets dumped. Not sure it is a good thing if JoEd is a member of the J Leman defense team.

Ugh, that J Lehman clip wasn't that funny. He's hardly on the podium of crazy stuff Christians say.

Incorrect. That was, in fact, the funniest thing of all time. I sincerely hope he continues recording these and that they continue playing them.

I actually get more of a chuckle out of Dick Stockton's "Ball Four...STRIKE THREE!" & those random soundbites of Florida Panthers' radio voice Randy Moller than this J. Leman guy.

I live in Palatine. Might be time for a Target trip this evening.

I wish I could be a faith healer at a Target in Palatine. I'm still stalled out at "spoon-bender at an Aldi in Wheeling." Well, onward and upward, as I always say.

It stems from Bernstein's hatred of religion and anyone with faith. This is right in Danny's wheelhouse because this guy is legit crazy. The show has been pretty funny today. I generally hate when Dan starts bashing people of faith, but this guy definitely has CTE. I'm surprised Dan hasn't inferred that.

The only good thing about religion is that it's fun to bash. And yeah, the guy is legit crazy. And yeah, it's funny as fuck.

I don't think it's a CTE issue. Unless it onset very early. He's been weird from the get-go but I never found him dangerously so. I always thought he was pretty entertaining.

He used to do a segment on The Ron Zook Show, as I'm sure everyone knows. It was one of the highlights of the show - a show that had many highlights I might add, Ron Zook's in-game insight among many.

Speaking of Ron Zook, the ex-Illinois head coach has a new gig. He's joining CBS Sports Network as one of the new co-hosts of "Inside College Football". That show, hosted by Adam Zucker with CBSSports.com's Bruce Feldman, CBS Sports' NFL/College Football Analyst Randy Cross, ex-Texas linebacker Brian Jones & former Arkansas HC Houston Nutt, returns this week to DIRECTV 613.

I do not want to burst bubbles, but after reading the comments on J Leman's FB pics, that Target is in California, not Palatine.

That explains the lack of foot traffic I'm getting.
