Terry & Dan B. are back on the road for one more day before getting back to the SCORE Studios downtown at 2 Prudential Plaza tomorrow. This afternoon, the guys will "Bear Down" with their first live broadcast from Bears' Camp in Bourbonnais, and needless to say, there will be surprise guests joining them from their broadcast location as practice winds down for the day. In the interim, here's what else the guys might talk about from Bears' Camp this afternoon: *MLB Trade Deadline Talk *Maholm & Johnson to Atlanta; Soto to Texas; Dempster Next to Go for Cubs? *White Sox Done Dealing? *Sox Give One Away to Twins Last Night in 9th; Cubs Blow Out Pirates *Nate Robinson Signing w/Bulls? *Yet More Penn State Scandal Talk; More Defiance from (Un)Happy Valley, PA Those are just some of the things the guys might discuss between 1:15-ish & 6P, along with London Summer Olympic updates from the Westwood One/Dial Global Radio Network as the afternoon progresses. This is also the first of 4 live broadcasts "B & B" as well as Mac & Spiegs before them will have from Bears' Camp. Both shows will also be in Bourbonnais broadcasting live Monday, August 6th, Tuesday, August 7th & Thursday, August 16th when camp gets ready to wrap. |

Quote: Dan Bernstein @dan_bernstein Tim Sweeney, host of @TheGoonShowPSU, says of #PSU players "What these guys have had to endure and overcome..." Were they raped, too? Well Danny they have to overcome people like you who tell thousands of people they are for child rape. |

The guys were talking a little bit about the latest developments in the final hour yesterday, and Bernsy mentioned New York Times' columnist William C. Rhoden, a card-carrying members of ESPN's "Sports Reporters" Sunday mornings with host John Saunders & the annoying Mike Lupica. Rhoden was part of a panel on CBS News' "Face the Nation" over the weekend with host Bob Schieffer, Patriot News' reporter Sara Ganim & CBS Sports/Premiere Radio Networks' host Jim Rome on the latest goings on at (Un)Happy Valley, PA. According to Bernsy, he mentioned something Rhoden said that I actually agree with. Rhoden said that Penn State shouldn't be playing football at all in the wake of the unprecedented NCAA sanctions levied by President Mark Emmert last week. He mentioned something that Penn State football should be shutdown for at least 2 years. Truth be told, no one is going to care about new HC Bill O'Brien and his Penn State program on the field. I didn't think they should've played those last 2 games last fall when news of the scandal became front page news, not just on this show, but on newscasts, too. |

I've never listened to so much music during B&B. But Penn State talk is immediate PTFB action for me. |

These guys are his "targeted" audience. The Goon Show @TheGoonShowPSU Online Penn State centric sports talk radio with an emphasis on PSU Football, featuring Keith Conlin and Tim Sweeney State College, PA · http://www.goonshowpsu.com from the website... Keith is the fourth of five brothers from Glenside, PA. Three of the brothers played football for PSU – older brother Chris, an All-American guard on the 1986 national championship team; younger brother Kevin, a center two years behind Keith; and “Goon” himself, a tackle on the 1994 Big Ten and Rose Bowl champions. |

rogers park bryan wrote: Wait til the fucking season starts.... Penn St games will be covered as much as the Bears Sadly, I agree. BernSTINE will definitely be scouring Twitter, message boards and watching/DVRing the games and coverage for anything he can use to further obsess about PSU. "Did you guys see this Penn St. players be excited about playing football? Did you see the stands packed? WTF is that? The culture hasn't changed! " or "I gotta talk about PSU and Twitter for a sec (2 hours), some of these dopes actually want the team to win? Do they not know what happened? Why do they support child rape?" It will never end. Ever. |

I got a chuckle out of this. Pulled up @sganim on the twitter to see what we would talk about today. Sara Ganim @sganim - RT “@VinniePolitan: #DrewPeterson atty Joel Brodsky starts his open... Introduces defense team... Compares them to a baseball team..” Sara Ganim @sganim - RT“@Joliet_HN: Judge calls defense opening statement "completely inappropriate." Brodsky's telling #DrewPeterson's life story.” Wonder if Bernstein will visit this gem of a trial now too. |

Wow, Mac making a brave and courageous move by taking shots at ZZ when he isn't on the air to defend himself. What a cowardly thing to do. Does Mac have issues with ZZ? If he does it would be more mature and respectable to take those up with ZZ personally and off the air. Kudos to ZZ for not playing in Mac's kindergarten, childish bullshit. ZZ has a job he has to do, let him do it. Nope, Mac does his best to shit on him and then attack him on the air even when ZZ signs off. Pretty lame Mac-O. It just rubbed my rhubarb the wrong way. Mac....back to being fat, angry and immature. |

Does he have issues with Laurence Holmes? |
