These guys are clearly morons whose value system is disturbingly off-kilter (something about the constant capitalization, slightly crooked lettering, and breathless syntax makes the sign read like those letters the Zodiac killer sent to the newspapers), and if Dan wants to make some labored faux-intellectual comparison between them and the Aryan Brotherhood, that's fine. But he never sacks up and actually, you know, does it. It's becoming really exhausting to listen to him demand rhetorical exactitude from meatballs even as he drops deliberately provocative implications based on little more than personal opinion and wishcasting. No one said they're proto-fascists, but one dipshit out of four has a chrome dome, which really makes ya think. No one said all hockey fans are racist. No one said LeBron is better than Jordan. Etc.

I think he has the station's approval (if he needs it) and that the Penn St situation is now his signature issue, and he's going to continue to do so. While most of his listeners probably feel the topic has run it's course, and 99% of people agree that raping kids is bad, he'll continue to argue the campus is the opposite, and etc, etc, the football team is evil, etc...Eventually, this will give way to Bears football, but he'll continue to do this Penn St. topic whenever something "new" has developed.

For a pseudo-intellectual, I'm surprised he does not understand what the term "mutually exclusive" means.

To be honest, I barely have listened to the show for a while now. I turn it on hoping to hear some good sports talk and right away with transition, its Penn State. Hasn't he already proven his point? Isn't this beating a dead horse? He won, right? If anyone says anything to him, he simply has to say Freeh report or Paterno statue or Sandusky convicted. Let's move on.
