Dan says something sure to inflame the cretins.

If you don't listen, the terrorists win.

SHARK is taking it on the chin and all over his face at the moment.

Poor guy will have to sink to the bottom of the Marianas Trench and hang with those aliens from the Abyss....and possibly Michael Biehn. I love that guy.

Is Bernsy all bent out of shape over what the Bears' Robbie Gould told Sun-Times columnist/troublemaker Joe Cowley yesterday in the paper about being proud of Penn State, despite the scandal that has dominated discussion on this program over the last several weeks?

SHARK, he had all day to talk about it yesterday. This is a new day.

I wanted to ride Falcor as a kid.

Instead I ended up riding Kid as an adult.

*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*5P: "Who Ya Crappin'?"
*5:30P: "Chicago Football Report" w/RED ALERT!-Broncos/Bears' Preview from Soldier Field

 SHOUTOUT TO BILL O'BRIEN - for finally saying something meeting Dan Bernstein's approval.

Perhaps our long radio nightmare is over.

Some of us knew all along that not everyone in Penn State was crazy and that the crazies would be marginalized soon enough.

Shoutout to Dr. Ken, RFDC, Irish Boy, and the rest of the Big Ten Posse!

I'm going to put my Beardown hat on now -

There's no doubt that some higher-up gave Bernstein the word to cool it on the PSU talk, especially with the Bears taking over. DB has just been looking for a way to exit the conversation gracefully and on top. He's found it with the comments from today.

Beardown hat off.

Wait.

Beardown hat back on -

The higher-up guy was black but hates Goff.

Beardown hat back off.

Post subject:  Re: 8/9: Bernstein Goes Apeshit

beni attempted to listen so you don't have to...bad ZZ reception made this one tough. I'm sure you are all upset by that.

- Cutler hasn't practiced due to the baby, so he has to take the field and warm up and see if he is ready to go. Nothing wrong. Nothing to see here. Stupid of ZZ to bring it up the way he did. Bernstein thought we had breaking news OMG, Cutler is a no go...pretty sure it will be a false alarm.
- If Cutler starts, we should see him for a handful of plays. Maybe 2 series.
- Bernstein admits to trying to create angles, and there is nothing to talk about....True Story Bernstein.
- ZZ talking nonsense about Campbell getting demoted to 3rd string qb.
- Wooton playing for his NFL career.
- Chauncey Davis is a poor man's Alex Brown. Not what Bears want. Has had a good camp though.
- Speaking of Alex Brown, let's chat more about his retirement. "Never felt cheated when you saw him play...loved being a Bear. Fitting thing to honor him. Reference to Azumah press conference. This honor won't be like that one.
- Phil Emmery dressed to the nines. What? Paisely tie qualifies as dressed to nines. Got it.
- 3 cornerback positions set.

Zero nuggets/tidbits.
