At least pro sports admit that they are only about the money, which is kind of like saying that "at least Jeffrey Dahmer admitted he's a serial killer" which means that it's perfectly alright. The day that you graduate from college, you should cut all ties from it and pretend like it doesn't exist and instead you should root for whatever faceless professional franchise happened to be geographically close enough to you at some point to gain your allegiance or you should pick whatever team is good at the time and start rooting for them like this boards Packers and Patriots fans did. That's clearly more logical than choosing to attend a school, spending time within walking distance of the stadium, seeing players around and talking with them, and then continuing to support them after graduation. That's just dumb. Instead, you should give your money to one family that will use it to buy every house around Lake Geneva and pay for racist political campaigns because you are mad that the current President hates rich people who aren't Warren Buffett. You shouldn't purchase tickets to the games because going to games suck but you should spend hours talking about them on message boards, radio shows, and you clearly should buy Hub Arkush's draft guides because you know, college sports is dumb, stupid, and creepy but following the draft is awesome and reading from a magazine is awesome radio. Oh, Gerry Dinardo is "one of the good ones" who doesn't take college sports way too seriously even though he's spent his whole life associated with it and worked at one of the dirtiest programs in the country(not when he was there though. Obviously, Dinardo was clean at LSU). Oh, and Bob Huggins is great even though he literally has went multiple years without graduating a single player, but Coach K sucks because he's arrogant after having the 2nd best career in basketball history. Calipari is fine even though he wins because he cheats like hell but Jim Tressel sucks because he wrote a book that involved faith but then he got fired for covering up a tattoo ring. *SIGH* Look, uh, uh, uh, and again, I'm going to talk slowly in case there are any fans of Purdue or Illini Nation out there who might have difficulty understanding this, but, um, uh, uh, you talk about Coach K, one of the biggest pieces of human garbage to ever walk down Division Street, and, look, again, if you don't understand the damn difference between that sanctimonious buttwipe and John Calipari, uh, eh, look, for the love of God, you're just too damn dumb to live, but eh, eh, eh, again, in point of fact, in my college sports world, and I covered college sports for a long time, a looooooooooong time, uh, eh, uh, uh, I did my time in hillbilly jerkwaters like West Lafayette, Champaign, Columbus, and Bloomington, and uh, uh, don't get me started on Coach K's mentor Bobby Knight, but look, for the love of God, I'm not going to explain it again for all the Penn State apologists out there, but uh, eh, these coaches and their little cults permeating campuses across America, uh, eh, eh, eh we're talking about the breeding grounds for some of the biggest walking rectums you could ever hope to find. |
