How many people think Boers really watched the Bears preseason game this weekend? I highly doubt it. He's already parroted Bernstein on Jeffery, and he's talking extreme generalities (like usual) that could probably be said about any preseason game. Bottom line is....what use is Boers other than making noises?

Most of the time Terry is totally useless, it's that simple. There are times, as brief and few as the may be these days, that he is really good and entertaining but mostly he is dead weight.

Shark is there a reason why you feel the need to actually label and quote the sponsor name for segments like "Xfinity Feedback Zone Live", etc? Are you being paid per spot? Or do you feel more official as a communicator doing that instead of just staying something like "Laurence Holmes is on a 6, then Ranger has pregame at 6:35pm." I think we all know what you would mean. Nobody cares what the segment names are, we all listen and know already.

Ummmm....yes I know that. The question was WHY you feel the need to specifically title every sponsor/show segment/show title as if we aren't aware of it already. If this is a thread for a radio show, it's safe to assume that most posters are listening to the same thing you are. And for those that aren't listening, it is safe to assume that they have in the past and aware aware of these details too. I'm not against your preview threads, just wondering why exactly you feel the need to do that. Do you just like making it look more official? Do you enjoy typing more information than is needed on a regular basis? Are you hoping your posts get noticed somewhere else?

Interesting Team Bernstein is turning on WSOX. Is Reinsdorf out of town?

I think he's turning on underhitting Gordon Beckham & Alexei Ramirez, both of whom are in RV's lineup tonight vs. the Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson-looking Freddy Garcia & the Yankees. Bernsy mentioned that Beckham & Ramirez, despite all the double plays & defensive gems they've turned, are the worst OPS(?) in Bud Selig's Major League Baseball...or something like that.

Wow, turning on a first place team.....if the Sox ever learned to beat bad teams consistently (year after year), they would win this division at least half the time. It wouldn't shock me to see the Sox rebound nicely against the Yanks.

Dang, Bernstein is lame. Blocking a texter b/c he offers a meatball opinion. For anyone not listening, this may not be the exact quote but the texter wrote he preferred chemistry, defense and 2-out hitting over great offense for his 2nd baseman. B&B now only accepting texts from 1st String Fans!

I don't think he believes in chemistry or 2 out (clutch) hitting. So that guy is going to incur his wrath. You better talk about wins over replacement to have a seat at Bernie's table.

Those "Wins Above Replacement" stats that Bernsy always mentions about certain MLB players are the kind of stat that tends to go in one ear and out the other. I don't think fans really care.

Besides, if there's a capable replacement for 2B Gordon Beckham, he's not ready in the White Sox minor league system. Also, Oswaldo Martinez, one of the guys the White Sox got from the Marlins in the Ozzie Guillen deal, is now a Dodger and 2B Tyler Kuhn is now a Diamondback. Let's also consider that Beckham ONLY played 59 minor league games before his 2009 call-up.

Someone please tell Dan that Leman's infamous Target healing was NOT in Palatine. It happened in California.
