Yesterdays show was all over the fucking place...a little in a good way and a lot in a bad way.

Stay focused gents, don't make me come down to the studio and straighten you clowns out!

Today will be even better...

I can't believe that sitcom lasted as long as it did from 1978-85 on NBC & 1985-86 on ABC. Still, it should be fun listening to Goff & Boers this afternoon.

It picked up in the second half after Goff calmed down...

Maybe I will just leave the radio off until the 2nd half.

If Goff keeps trying to stuff 15 minutes of talk into 30sec he is going to pass out or have a heart attack.

They don't work together often so I will definitely be listening and giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Terry is probably psyched to not have King Iron Fist Dan BernSTINE around and both are excited to be able to stretch their radio legs and not talk about PSU and listen to Danny B. rant about SABR stats that he doesn't understand.

Bernstein style to doing his show is to wing it. Have a basic idea before it starts but he just turns on the mic and go for 5 hours.

Goff adopts this style cuz it's easier just to pop into the studio and do it that way. That's why "Team Bernstein" mocks Mac for having meeting and planning segments. Because "Team Bernstein" thinks that they are the cool show that doesn't need to do such bullshit things.

Bernstein has talent to pull this off. Goff needs to prepare better to do a talk show. Boers won't do it. Bernstein can carry Boers. Goff can't.

Goff wasted little time yesterday telling those planning to submit E-craps not to do so for tomorrow's "Who Ya Crappin?" segment but to do so by phone. E-mail issues with CBS Radio corporate?

Yep, they're in the process of switching to AOL.

I heard that. Wonderful idea.

Read them yourself. If they suck or go on too long, ya get the gun. This is how it should always be. Most of the ding bats that email the craps in are just trying to impress Bernstein anyway...

You know why he probably said that?

1. Reading means work for Goff. He doesn't want to be bothered with that.

2. Some of the crappers use big words. Goff is worried he won't be able to prounounce them correctly and doesn't want to embarrass himself.

No, there's not switching to AOL. The issue had to do in large part with passwords, and I don't mean the classic game show hosted by the late Allen Ludden starting in 1961 either.

I totally agree. I think BernSTINE likes reading because he gets to do his serious voice, dramatic pauses, reading the big words and the emails are like handjobs from the listeners.

The emails always suck.

Exactly. One of the only things I don't like about the show.

I agree that the e-craps are usually waaay too long and probably designed to impress Bernsie, but I think he does an excellent job of reading them. He always uses the correct voice, tone, etc.

It's the same thing during the "Who's Your Guy" segment they do.

Thankfully, they haven't mentioned that creep, let alone anything Penn State related since Bernsy took off.

By the way, I'm not sure if it's Josh Elliott or Darren Rovell, but ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier is supposed to be on ABC's "World News" this eve...

How many times will Bernstein attempt to out-knowledge Spiegs during transition, in regards to the Urlacher blood procedure?

I don't know if Bernsy, Boers, Goff or their production staff will be DVR-ing this, but Josh Elliott interviews ex-Penn State President Graham Spanier tonight.

Shit, forgot about that. Good call. I would have set the o/u at 5.5.

It's Goff today & tomorrow. Holmes sits in with Boers for the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" at Primetime in New Lenox, just so everyone knows.

As for Goff, he'll get face time on CBS2's Bears pregame Friday night before Bears/Giants in the "NFL on CBS" preseason special. Cross promotion? Yep.

So is Goff the Score's NFL Insider now too?
