Terry's favorite cheater is giving up his fight. You can damn well bet that Lance Armstrong will be mocked today. Other stuff will happen. Laurence Holmes is sitting in, so this should be a good show. |

I hope they pick up the Sox ticket argument again. I'd love to blast 'em. |

For the record, the guys are broadcasting live from Primetime in New Lenox for the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" between 1:15-ish & 6P. Laurence said on his own show last night that he's looking forward to this afternoon's show with his "Uncle Terry", and hopes to have as much fun as he & Bernsy had last Friday at Kenwood Liquors in Oak Lawn. As far as Lance Armstrong is concerned, I know that the guys have had less than flattering things to say about him, but before they can get all excited that he's been banned by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, consider this for a moment. Before the developments late last night that Lance is giving up all the legal challenges into allegiations of doping, I'm not so sure he's as guilty as it is the legal system and all the money Lance and his legal team probably would've spent if they had continued to pursue it. The man in charge of the USADA since 2007, Travis Tagart, was a guest today on "The Dan Patrick Show". Tygart wouldn't say if it was worth it for Armstrong to continue the legal fight, but he explained why the USADA decided to strip Armstrong of his Tour de France titles and ban Lance for life from cycling. http://www.danpatrick.com/2012/08/24/us ... ce-titles/ |

Here's the Friday game plan with Boers & Holmes in New Lenox: *2P: The SCORE/CSNC White Sox Analyst Steve Stone-Mariners/White Sox Weekend Preview *3:30P: "The Second Half" *3:45P: White Sox CF(Current Leadoff Hitter) Dewayne Wise *4P-ish: The SCORE/WBBM Newsradio's Zach Zaidman-Bears/Giants' Game 3 Preseason Preview-MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ "Scoreboard Updates": Matt Rodewald With Holmes doing this show this afternoon, Chris Rongey does a little extra lifting. He'll have 35 minutes of "musings" from the Gold Coast Ticket Club at U.S. Cellular Field @ 6P leading up to his "Horseshoe Casino Pregame" for Mariners/White Sox @ 6:35P. First pitch @ 7:10P this eve. After Rongey's "Xfinity Postgame", they've got TBA listed followed by "SCORE Overnight" in the form of Yahoo! Sports Radio from Houston @ Midnight. I know there's a Bears/Giants' preseason game tonight, and The SCORE has had live, local postgame after the first 2 Bears' preseason games. |

Joe Ostrowski is such a buttmonkey, and so is Leery for replaying that call. Yeah, stop bitching about attendance. |

The caller didn't make much sense in why he's not going to White Sox games. Why haven't I gone to a Sox game myself? Well, my brother & wife recently welcomed a baby girl into this world. They are busy themselves with schedules that aren't the most convenient. Besides, my dad isn't getting any younger. |

Unfortunately, the attendance issue isn't going away. There's another good team down in St. Petersburg, FL that fans aren't exactly seeing either. They are the Tampa Bay Rays. |

The caller asking what the evidence is. Terry replies "They have it." Caller says "I don't understand, though. What is it?" Terry says "They have all of it." Ground-breaking analysis there, old man. |

Wait a minute! If Lance Armstrong was a cheater, why did he pass some 500 drug tests? He's not as much a cheater as it is the legal system. |

Yeah he was meatbally, but it wasn't like he wasn't making sense? He had a problem with Johnny Pesky, who recently passed away and seemed to object to Ed Farmer remembering him during a recent broadcast. |

Not a grammar issue, but omitting a word can completely change the sentence's meaning, S"HA"RK. |

It's very unfortunate what happened to Lance Armstrong. The guys can be mad at Lance all they want, but it reached a point where it was no longer worth fighting for legally. That's the bottom line. |

You look like you're in for the fight of your life SHARK with that whole thing going on between your brother and wife. KS, I was referring to Lance Armstrong, the ongoing allegiations of doping from the French officials in charge of the Tour de France, ex-teammates Tyler Hamilton & Floyd Landis & a battle that Lance felt he was no longer capable of winning from a legal standpoint. My brother & his wife have nothing to do with this at all. I'm calling it as I see it and I don't quite agree with the guys on their anti-Lance Armstrong stance. |
