It's back to the regular time for the "Boers & Bernstein Show" this afternoon, as Jason Goff once again sits in for Bernsy, away today for Yom Kippur. He & Boers will continue talking about the fallout from the "Monday Night Football" fiasco at the end of Packers/Seahawks and the NFL continuing to play hardball with the regular officials. They'll also take calls come 5P for The SCORE/Pro Football Weekly/Dial Global Sports' Hub Arkush about those topics and other NFL/Bears' issues. They might also discuss... *White Sox Time to Panic? 8 Games Left; Now Tied w/Detroit for 1st in AL Central *Tigers: Now the Team to Beat in AL Central? *NFL Continues to Play Hardball w/Regular Officials; Even Presidential Candidates Are Talking *Bears Start Preps for "MNF" in "Big D"; "Jay Day" at Halas Hall *Cubs On Track to Lose 100 After Rain-Shortened Loss to Rockies |

I stand corrected. Because of "Monday Night Football", Jay Cutler, or as The SCORE's Connor McKnight once said "Jay Podium", addresses the media tomorrow at Halas Hall. My mistake. |

Boers says that there's no comparison between this year's White Sox & the 1969 Cubs. This year's Sox haven't led the A.L. Central by more than 3 1/2 games. |

Per Goff - "you're going to win a certain number of games and you're going to lose a certain number of games and it's what you do with those games in the middle that determine whether you are a playoff team or not." OK. |

OK. Every team starts the season at 50-50. How do you play the remaning 62? Sounds like a bad Under Armour commercial. |

Just to clarify, I hate the variations of that expression. It's one of those things that sounds like it means something but it doesn't really mean anything. |
