There will NOT be transition today with Mac & Spiegs due to the fact BOTH the "McNeil/Spiegel" & "Boers & Bernstein Shows" are on remote. As soon as Mac & Spiegs wrap up at Tilted Kilt in Schaumburg, Terry & Dan B. originate the "Bud Light 'Who Needs Two?' Tavern Tour" from Jameson's Pub, 9845 W. St. Francis Rd. in Frankfort. In addition to various tickets they'll give away for those in attendance, here's a sampling of what the guys might discuss:

*White Sox Lose Yet Again; AL Central Deficit is NOW 2 Games Following 3-2 Loss To Rays
*Reaction to Return of REAL NFL Officials; Ravens Beat Browns 23-16 in "Thursday Night Football"
*Bears/Cowboys' Countdown Continues
*Cubs Close to 100 Losses: Swept By Rockies; CSNC's Len Kasper Checks in from Phoenix
*College Football Preview w/BTN's Gerry DiNardo @ 4P

It all starts @ 1P following the usual Friday open & the golden tones of Production Director Russ Mitera's introduction.

Frankfort: the lesser New Lenox

I have lived in and around Chicagoland for 30 years and I had no idea where Frankfort even is. I had to google maps it. It's no Lockport.

How is the greater Mokena-New Lenox-Frankfort area not just like a sea of foreclosures at this point? "I have a great idea. I'm gonna build a huge fucking house in New Lenox."

Here's the Friday Game Plan from Frankfort:

*2P: The SCORE/White Sox/WCIU's Steve Stone-Where Did the Sox Season Go Terribly Wrong?
*TBA: The SCORE/WBBM Newsradio/Bears Radio Network's Zach Zaidman-Bears/Cowboys' Update
*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*4P: BTN's Gerry DiNardo-Big Ten/College Football Weekend Preview
*4:40P: Cubs/CSNC's Len Kasper-Cubs Close to 100 Losses; Live from Phoenix-Sponsored by Budweiser
*5:30P: Mike from Milwaukee's Football Picks (?)

Terry's "two favorite words", Laurence Holmes, has 35 more minutes of bridge-building sports talk starting @ 6P. He leads into yet another "White Castle Pregame" from the Gold Coast Ticket Club at U.S. Cellular Field @ 6:35P with Chris Rongey. First pitch for Rays/White Sox @ 7:10P.

The 670thescore.com schedule has Joe Ostrowski following the Sox game until 1A Saturday morning. I don't think so, folks. Ostrowski's a new dad and it would be asking a bit much for the new dad to host live, local sports talk. If no Joe, "SCORE Overnight" in the form of Yahoo! Sports Radio follows the Rays/Sox game until 6A Saturday.

The Chef Boyardee stuff from yesterday was old school B&B goodness. No CTE, no PSU, no stupid made up Chicago sports problem. Just good old fashioned dumbassery.

That should be their slogan in their commercials. Shot of a divorced guy in a studio apartment, watching TV in his underwear and eating canned pasta. Chef Boyardee: Pretty Soon, It Might Come To That.

I keep hearing that promo for a new CBS legal drama "Made in Jersey" that premieres @ 8P tonight. As I hear on the preceding show here on The SCORE..."Keep it."

Frankfort is in a class all its own, friend.

10.)New Lenox.

The Frankfort area, including Mokena/New Lenox has actually held up pretty well relative to other towns and such.

After moving to Frankfort from Olympia Fields I am now a member of the Lockport Club. I enjoy it here, I justwish the downtown area had more bars or just that those 2 bars didn't burn down.

Brutal! She's a fish out of water sassy Jersey attorney trying to make her way in a high powered Manhattan firm. Seriously? What dusty shelf did CBS find this piece of shit script?

Wait, he actually went fishing during a stop set? Dan Bernstein, you are weird.

Is it really fishing though if it's for like 4 minutes?

Caught just enough of the show with Bernstein of course not enjoying any of the ryder cup thinking that the enthusiasm by the players cheering for each other is manufactured. What a shock he would think that way. That'll do for today.

Steve Stone on the Home Run Inn Pizza hotline with the guys right now. Might he be doing impromptu PBP again tonight when U'z got Rays & White Sox tonight on 26 come 7:10P with Ken Harrelson sick?

This management of expectations shit is so galling. Last week the Sox were the best team in the division and expected to finish ahead of a Detroit team that couldn't win when it counted. Now Detroit was supposed to be the best anyway and you can't get down on these guys for trying as hard as they did. If I were a fan I would get mad.

Not only that, but it's obviously clear that he doesn't give two shits about Hawk. At all.

Yup. Hawk the pussy said he was "sick". Must be really "sick" to not show up. But I really enjoyed calling a game where I got to actually interact with the other guy in the booth. Refreshing.

Harrelson's not getting any younger. Needless to say, this stretch of White Sox baseball is enough to make anyone sick.

It sounds odd to say but I hope that Hawk is acutally ill (nothing serious) and not just hiding out because he is throwing a fit about the season.
