Just when you thought it was safe to turn on 670 The SCORE & 670thescore.com between 1:15P-ish & 6P following the daily transition to hear "Boers & Bernstein" talk Chicago sports, he's back in the news. A certain creep by the name of Jerry Sandusky, and on the morning of his sentencing in the Penn State scandal, Sandusky maintains his innocence to a Penn State radio station which reads like this:

http://psucommedia.com/comradio/story/c ... -from-jail

You can bet a fired up Bernsy will be front & center on this story and likely will play the chilling audio from the Penn State radio station prior to his sentencing this morning.

There probably will be a lot of Bears/NFL talk when The SCORE's own Hub Arkush, also from Pro Football Weekly & Dial Global Radio Network, joins the show @ 5P for his own commentary about the Bears' beatdown of the Jaguars. In the meantime, Bernsy wrote the following about the Bears' defense possibly "Better Than Ever". You can read it here:

Okay, I'll take the 'under' on this and figure that they'll maybe make a couple-three mentions of this the whole show, leave it lie, and talk about other shit that will make us pine for the days when we could smooth a silk sheet with a .... I lost my train of thought.

Or coming up with something clever? But that's not SHARK's thing.

"SHARK" and "original content" are antonyms.

Jason going to go after Mac all day today because Mac hates people saying "axe" instead of "ask".

If the guys devote a lot of this show to that creep in (Un)Happy Valley, PA, you've been warned. Bernsy has made no secret of discussing this subject, especially on a day like this when Jerry Sandusky was officially sentenced.

Here is the Tuesday Game Plan with the guys:

*NEXT: The SCORE/WBBM Newsradio/Bears Radio Network's Zach Zaidman-Bears' Practicing Today
*3:30P: "The Second Half"
*4P: Vikings' LB Erin Henderson-Minnesota Off to a 4-1 Start, Too
*5P: The SCORE/PFW/Dial Global Sports' Hub Arkush-Bears/Jaguars' Breakdown

"Scoreboard Updates": Connor McKnight

Terry's "two favorite words", Laurence Holmes, follows @ 6P. It's not just a "full boat show" for Holmes, but it's also the first "Miller Lite Top Draft Show" live broadcast of the season. Laurence & Bears' CB Charles Tillman broadcast live from Hooters, 1303 Butterfield Rd. in Downers Grove with #33 joining Holmes @ 7P for 90 minutes of Bears' talk, plus those in attendance can register to win passes to the Miller Lite Party Deck at Soldier Field for a "future game".

The voice of the Kane County Cougars, Wayne Randazzo, has the latenight SCORE @ 10P followed by Les Grobstein's "SCORE Overnight" @ Midnight until 5A Wednesday.

It'll be interesting to hear if he takes that cowardly approach, since he didnt say anything to Mac's face and has at least somewhat of a history of talking behind people's backs and backing down when contronted

Starting with Drinky during the "McNeil/Spiegel Show" & now with Connor on this show, the Sandusky story is the lead in the "Scoreboard Updates".

Playing "Guess what the GM is thinking and what he might do if A, B, or C happens" is almost as PTFB-worthy as Sandusky talk.

I'll just check the thread as that's usually more entertaining than listening to the show anyway.

This team's principals are old (Urlacher: 13th, Peppers: 11th, Briggs and Peanut: 10th). When they start to decline, it'll be hard and fast. Already is with Urlacher. This should be a last hurrah for Lovie, a veteran-friendly coach. You can't extend him into 2015 because he ran up the score on the Jaguars the other day.

I think it would be a last hurrah for HC Lovie Smith if the Bears sign him to a reported 2-year extension. This team isn't getting any younger.

Well, it will get younger next year when there isn't a 35-year-old Brian Urlacher on the team.

Though I gotta say, rattling off the list of bad coaches around the NFL really gave me pause. That was a long list of idiots.

To the current discussion, according to this story, Amendola and wife Dottie knew the tape recording was being made. At least, he was present. Maybe he still didn't know...

I mean, odds are that if the Bears hire a new coach, he'll be a complete tard. Best to play it safe with a guy who's really frustrating at times but generally pretty good. This is The Bears Way.

These latest Jerry Sandusky revelations could also hurt PA Governor Tom Corbett's re-election bid, according to SportsByBrooks & Politico.com. Uh oh...
