A new black guy to replace Goff and to correct B and B.


I nominate Herb Lawrence, Laurence Holmes or Ethan Shaw.

They really a lacking in latin american diversity at the station with Goff gone as well.

In terms of getting on the mic and adding some flair, I'd say get Herb back there full-time. The guy's hilarious and would allows the funny race factor comments to remain as was with Goff in the studio...

You think he wouldn't go to B&B in a heartbeat over Leary's 100 shows a year? As for Herb, think I may be the only one that finds him a bit overloved, but he's probably the best choice.

Shark, your right and I think he brings a lot to that show in terms of the goofiness factor. Thus why he would fit well with B&B, plus he produces B&B quite often as is and gets along with the guys. Laurence's show is ultimately on like 2-3 nights a week, seems like someone is always filling in or it's pushed out by the Sox or NFL Games, i'm sure he would jump at a chance at getting on a "regular" schedule.....

It'll be Herb. He seems funny enough, but I'm not looking forward to him getting more exposure, since the entire station treats him with the same inexplicable awe with which Dan and Terry view old NBA coaches. He likes the Illini! He's got all these funny sayings! He'll give you advice about women! We HAVE to give this crazy character his own segment!

Yeah, their awe is only surpassed by Leary, who seems to think "Ask Herb" is the single funniest segment in sports radio. Herb has a lot to say about women, seems a bit angry at them...not quite Holmesian in his creepiness, but seems like the same tired bit.
